Why Do Texas Republicans blame Democrats when Republicans Have Been in Charge of Texas for 30 Years?

Texas Republicans blame all of the problems in Texas with bad infrastructure, high crime, lots of mass shootings, racism, political corruption, idiot Sen. Ted Cruz, and horrible education system on Democrats. Republicans have been in power of the state for 30 years and put blame on everyone else but themselves--learned from Trump. I feel sorry for those living in Texas and support the corrupt Republicans.

They want to remain in power. Stating"whoops guys, we fucked up." is not a great way to do so. Praying on the fears of your base is a good way. Blame of the "woke" democrats still works to stay in power and they will do so until it no longer does.

My state is just as bad. Everyone is so afraid of the democrats that they couldn't give two shots about anything else. It's all about protecting their kids from "woke" values and the taxes they claim dems love. You might as well be talking to a wall.
