With Biden in charge, it will probably happen. With the two wars going on right now, it would require ground troops. We don't have enough of those, so the military people I listen to, say it's likely to happen.

It's been a while since I read up on the draft but if I recall correctly the draft age is 18-34 in the US. So you may already be ineligible. The chances of a draft are pretty slim at the moment.

@WhiteSandyBeach read a little further that is the draft expansion of world War 2. It's been amended many times since and we are sitting at the age of 25 for the draft.

You're right. That was an old post. But it's true that the age can be changed during a serious conflict. Congress could change the age tomorrow if they wanted to. And most of the posts I've seen aren't about draft age, they're about requirements to register.

I suppose it depends on which country you are in. In the US? No, there is no chance of a draft.

Well, I mean, maybe under a republican president. But a Democrat knows if they tried to invoke the draft there would be a civil war in like 5 seconds.
