Why do some guys think that being a girl is a bad thing?

I see a lot of questions on here from guys that seem to imply that being a girl is a horrible life. I just want to know why some of you think so.

Why? Because in dealing w women on a daily basis there always seems to be something wrong emotionally. They’re like a roller coaster. There’s always something going on w one or a few of them. I work w a lot of women as a nurse. Holy smokes. One girl hates this girl. This group doesn’t like that group. Girl the other night got her feelings hurt cause they didn’t ask her if she wanted to order food w them. Even though it wasn’t like a group that hangs out together. People just heard us talking about it then asked if they could order too. A lot of some. On antidepressants. The men I work w, always cook. Never an issue. They’re just laid back. Never need help w their patients. The women, it’s like the world is ending. Always need help w their patients. I’m behind on charting, I’m stressed out w this patient. It’s not just like that here. When I worked in the prison w mostly men, they were great. Never really gave a fuck, didn’t stress out about things. Had each others backs. Medical records, all women. Nothing but drama. Same w the nursing department in the prison system. I tend to think women have it easier in life. Society treats them better. It’s just their emotions get the best of them.

I don't think that at all. Certainly women have DIFFERENT challenges and DIFFERENT advantages compared to men, but I don't think women inherently have it better or worse.

I wouldn't trade for being a woman (in that frequent hypothetical question), but that's mostly because I already understand what being a man is like and I know how to deal with the hard parts of being a man. If I woke up as a woman tomorrow, I would struggle with having to learn how to deal with the downsides of being a woman - something most women have naturally figured out.

The idea that one has it better than the other (overall) is just false in my opinion. Certainly you can point to specific situations where men or women have it easier, but you can point to another where the opposite is true. I think that overall, things are remarkably balanced by nature.

Certainly, RECENT politics have caused more problems between men and women, but that's artificial, and politically caused, not anything inherent to the natural state of things.

Why would I think that a girl being a girl is a bad thing? I LOVE women, especially girly girls! You girls with all the sets of matching bras and panties, all those frilly and sheer sundresses, and the LBD's. . . y'all keep doing what you do!

I don’t think it’s a hard thing, just different and more difficult in regards to things like personal safety. I know 99% that I can go to the pub for a quiet pint and no one will disturb me, if I was a girl I would say there is a 99% chance I would get disturbed on a number of occasions. Ditto being on a train, travelling on the tube, walking down any city street. Then throw in the entire reproduction system… it is not a bad thing, both sides have their own personal struggles and what society expects of them, often stupid expectations.

Periods, pregnancy, being physically weaker, dealing with creepy men seems pretty terrible.

But just living as a woman in society doesn't seem too bad to me. You'd have to ask women this question, they're the ones constantly complaining about how much it sucks to be a woman and how privileged men are.

well in all honesty you are weak. in every sense, onlytime a woman shows any indication of real power is when they have a kid aside from that everything about you is weak and dependent so of course we wouldn't like to be like you.

only thing about being a woman i could feel remotely envious is beingable to get your parents incomes after they die.

I don't think very many guys DO think that. The extent that we do, it's mostly because we hear women complain about their lives constantly.

Where do you get that? I think you're confusing men's critique of women and their erraticness as it pertains to "feelings". All women have a bit of "crazy" in them. Men with experience with women both know and accept this. But they also know good women do their best to control it. While bad women let their emotions control them. I think that's the mistake you're making.
