I've just read a Reddit story. This girl was a bully to some other girl for 3 years. She was a total biotch. The other girl had enough and decked her. She was complaining about getting grounded for a month after her parents found out she was instigator.
This is the update when she finds herself at the girl's mercy. She was forced to make peace because she messed with a smart girl that can help her with her school subjects. Her plan to use the other girl actually backfired. Guilt got through her when the girl treated her kindly in return and even convinced her parents to let her hang out for New Year, lessening her punishment. She ends up feeling in debt with the girl and ends up befriending her, lol.
Can that really happen, killing someone with kindness? The person you treated like garbage forgave you, treated you nicely that you feel terrible and even question your past actions.

Been there done that, it depends on person to person really, some will never change no matter what and some will, it's more on a person's values and character and besides if someone wants to do something they will and if they don't want to then they won't no matter what the reasons is and the reasoning behind why the person did the wrong thing in the first place also plays a part in them feeling bad and changing or not feeling bad and carrying on.
That's true. There are just some cruel people out there that simply don't care.
Oh it’s possible. Just takes a lot of work
True. The girl succeeded. She turned her bully into her friend.
Good shit
Honestly, I do think that is possible.
yeah and yet it must take effort to treat someone kindly even when they were mean to you
Yes I agree.
