Thought that’s what equality was supposed to be, helping each other through life. Apparently not. 🤷🏻♂️

lol...
let's see - I'm 5'1", 93 lbs; I don't know how tall/heavy you are, but @NathanDavis shared it in some thread, so I know he is literally twice heavier than me...
If I stood on his back, I wouldn't harm him in any way... the opposite situation... I'm not sure :D 200 lbs is a lot ffs... I would definitely take it as oppressive :D
@IslaTheWitch With a 42% obesity rate most women in the U. S. that would be oppressive as well :P
@BoopBoopBeep yeah, I can imagine... maybe we should change it from gender to BMI?
@islathewitch
Yeah that works for me. If you can't see your feet when you bend over the only thing you need to be climbing onto is a stairmaster.
@BoopBoopBeep lmao
BMI also would be less offensive; I assume... a number is a number, right? And we are in control of these numbers :D
Let’s stay on topic, @Witch. It wasn’t meant to be taken literally it was referring to equality.
evaluation of the situation depends on the person who observes the situation. I think most people would find it adorable that kids help each other, and not many will see gender thing here.
Regarding adults in the same situation, it would be more fun to observe, but still, I think most people would see the situation as normal if help is needed. So I don't agree with your statement in the question.
You wouldn’t because you’re a woman
It’s impossibly for you to understand
no... because I observe reality not just its twisted reflection :D
@SolitarySolace Depends on the help. Somebody on the side of the road changing a tire... nobody is going to stop for a man. Someone may eventually stop for a woman. If I need help spotting or I'm standing beside a guy who is 6'5" and I need the bag of concrete from the top shelf at the hardware store, he'll nearly always say yes if I ask for help. Guys always ask other guys for help with house projects when it's a two-or more person job like major framing or something like that. Building a retaining wall and the likes. People hold the door for the person behind them, male or female. If I put up a post on the neighborhood site saying "hey I need help getting snow out of my driveway" I'll have three people there by the end of the day, and that's assuming the neighborhood kids don't beat them to it.
Now the reality is if I need help, it's probably grunt work that I need more hands on. There's not a lot that I need women to help me with that I can't just do myself. If I need help setting up a fundraiser cookout or something, then it doesn't matter what sex the other person is, I just need people to show up. I'll probably get more women than men actually since that isn't necessarily a labor intensive job. I need help moving 5 cords of firewood for the winter, that's likely to be the men in the neighborhood.
@Boop, that has nothing to do with the conversation
I've stopped to help a few young guys that had no idea what to do with their cars...
same principle as to why I did it, if girls... if PEOPLE seem to need help, I do stop by sometimes
but, I am actually a man, and not a whiny boy that does and knows nothing but to complain and blame others for my own inadequacy
lol... you got to make up your own childish scenarios to deny your reality...
It's not something you would see everyday. I don't think many interpret it as misogyny though.
