Have you Ever Experienced a Sudden Realization That Something Once Amazing was No Longer Appealing?

Paris, Covid really ruined a lot of things for me. I own a summer house on an island. I bought it in 2009. I really loved to go up there. It is where I met my wife. I have hardly spent any time up there since 2019. I had to go to a wedding there last September and I just wanted tom go up there and get it over with.
I am going to take some time this summer and go up there and see if I can find a reason not to sell the place.
Ohh, Yes, @exitseven Damn Covid Ruined many Things For many People and Businesses. Good Luck,. dear. xx
@exitseven Please do go and enjoy it
@7Phoenix7 ππππππ thanks
@7Phoenix7 Thanks
This girl at my work. She ended up turning her back on me and showing her true colors and it made me realize how disgusting she is both physically and personality-wise. I almost vomited that I was actually attracted to her.
Like everyone else, she was cool until she got promoted.
I wouldn't mind if she walked the talk, but one thing I can't stand are hypocrites

Tattoos. I grew up wanting them all over. But at a certain age and point of not having any, I was kind of like "Why would I ruin my ongoing record of not having any?" It just lost its appeal at a certain point.
The tattoo regret is real for women especially. Putting permanent marks on your body is so weird.
@James_Likes_PPL I am with you.
Like the old Mas comic books where the centerfold looked like a collage of things but once you folded it a certain way the true picture appeared... thomaspark.co/.../
Partying like the world's going to end tomorrow or, as @Lliam eloquently put it, like a viking. It started to get old waking up in the morning the following days with a massive hangover and realizing the world didn't end. 😅
Yes i looked at a choc truffle recently β¦ usually would have the pull if teo suns, but had, l no appeal.
relationships are work sometimes... until they become less work. A lot of the work is on yourself and when emotions damaged, it's harder. This is the problem... let issues go long time... people can get ground to sawdust. You get to evaluate what is going on, why you were drawn, what the value, meaning and purpose was to it all. Most of the answers are in your childhood and with Gods growth in your life.
I suspect you are talking about X... not chocolates.
I will say though that chocolates aren't what they used to be... a lot of it is junk, I only go for the quality ones from Belgium or France.
And I'd still with quality people as well.
It's happened to me a few times. I think as humans we often make the common mistake of falling in love with the idea of something. xx
Yes and it can be hard to deal with sometimes.
not really, i allways appreciated people and things
What about ideals, morals, and beliefs. Iβd like to think I have matured and grown since I was a teenager. My personal beliefs have changed a lot.
Owning a business was very appealing until covid hit and I had to close down Since people didn't want me in their homes
@exitseven other than unemployment (which I had to pay some of it back) not a penny.
@Wiredone you should have said that you spent all the money. You could maybe afford ten dollars a week to pay them back. Then make the first payment and the chase is on after that. I guarantee, nobody that works for the government does their job. I know this is true because I worked for the state for 16 years. They would forget about it.
@exitseven I was supposed to get a very small tax return last year, it went to unemployment without even my knowledge
@exitseven every time I try, it backfires and I end up screwing myself
When I got "saved", I lost interest in New Age paganism.
Unfortunately, many parts of life we used to enjoy or aspire to doing or becoming has become like this.

Yes, sometimes I feel like things that used to be great aren't great anymore.
Partying like a Viking.
Yes I find getting older I realized this more and more. What starts off amazing.. can easily fizzle out fast. My past few relationships were really good because the " banter" was always good. We always had something to say.
