Women like to make it seem as though their lives aren’t easier, but their lives are the easiest these days compared to the lives of men. A woman these days need not take any responsibility or accountability for anything. A woman has far more choices and options than men in all aspects of life. I mean, hell, women don’t even have to be qualified for a job in order for them to get said job! Women don’t have to provide anything in order to be loved and cherished. Women get less harsher sentences than men and tend to get away with false accounts until they themselves prove that they lied. It’s even taboo in society to criticize women while it’s totally ok to demonize men. Women control language (Toxic Masculinity, Mansplaining) Divorce courts favor women, no fault divorce laws were put into law for women to take advantage of both good and bad men regardless of whether abuse is happening or not. People still honestly believe that feminism is about equality when they don’t care enough to look into it all they see is the definition on the internet that a person put there claiming all waves of feminism are somehow the same as the very first meanwhile no one knows there’s such a thing as a Men’s rights movement. Women have Valentine’s Day, women’s history month, international women’s day which empowers both good and bad women meanwhile people criticize the idea of an international men’s day many don’t even invite there is such a thing! Claiming men somehow already get all the praise. Should I continue?

i would agree though that divorce court does favor women, and also for like car accidents women just get a very good deal on that (like if you´re a man you just automatically have to pay more, like whaaat?)

but in my opinion, i think its a debate that will always rage on, as neither gender will completely understand the other. i personally believe that both genders have it roughly equal

I don’t think we have it equal at all. Women think they deserve more rights and privileges they don’t know when to stop empowering themselves it’s as if there’s no ceiling this is what’s wrong with progressive movements they don’t know when to stop and because of this they’re no longer progressing their regressing. Women and men are making life for women easier while claiming men’s lives will never be oppressed by these women.

there was also another question posted a long time ago asking roughly the same question, and actually many women did say yes, however, they also said that you had to define what feminism meant, like the feminists you are talking about are like the psycho ones, basically wanting the extermination of men lol, but i think many of those women saying they were feminists simply wanted it to be equal.

Something I think (and it might just be a bias) is that a lot of the masculine upbringing I had helped me to face hardships.

For example, I've never been afraid to walk the streets alone at night and maybe because I had masculine pressure to overcome my fears. It's not necessarily any less dangerous for me to walk the streets at night but I don't have to suffer the fear that some women do.

So I sometimes think men are better prepared given the type of parenting and education and social pressure we have to better handle the harsh and dangerous realities of the world.

The women I've known who are prepared this way though (my wife being a prime example as she grew up with only elder brothers and was raised by her father almost like a son, being taught judo and kendo) seem much better off for it.

I think that's the ultimate "male privilege" I had is that I was taught and pressured not to be afraid of danger, taught not to complain too much, taught not to gossip, taught to be honorable, taught to stand up for myself, taught to discipline my emotions, etc.

For example, in Japan when I was a boy, when a little boy fell down and scraped his knee and cry, adults would say, "Stop crying! If you are going to cry over such a little thing, what are you going to do when you leg has to be amputated in a war?" Like that. It encouraged us to be tougher. They didn't do that for little girls in Japan. Instead they were like, "Aww, poor baby? Did you get a boo-boo?" And I don't think that prepares those girls for the real world nearly as well.

Depends on what side you look at it. The gender each have their own freedoms.

Men have much better representation in the media, allowed to have good arcs and cool designs while women usually are just... boobs (mostly talking about anime lol). Men can walk down a street at night without fear, they can walk around shirtless, there's no ridiculous beauty standards, they don't have to give birth, they get paid more as athletes, etcetera.

Women have the upperhand in divorce cases. We can use just our looks to get money. Our beauty standards are things we can change, not something like height. We get the final say on if a man will be a parent / pay child support. We're allowed to express emotion freely and wear clothes, feminine or masculine, without judgement.

It all depends on personal taste. What you believe would be a better perk to have in life; either A. To never go through the agony of childbirth, or B. To have final say on if the child is going to live.

Having given birth twice and weeks away from a third, it's the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. It was painful to be sure, but I would not be here in line again if it was "agony."

Holding a new life your body just created and feeding her from your own breast is something I pity men for never getting to experience.

I can't speak on the behalf of all women of course, but I know there's a good percentage of us who consider the birth thing to be a curse. It's just not everyone's fantasy to have a physical being grow inside of them, change their body, and then get pushed out. I definitely plan to be a mother but I'd just really love it if my DNA could go to a child without having to do all that 😭

It's definitely a priority of mine to serve her so skillfully and enthusiastically that she becomes accustomed to doing virtually no household chores, laundry or any manual labor whatsoever, and ultimately, she shouldn't have to work anymore, either, in my view.

That's a matter of perception. Women have the advantage of low expectations of them. But that's a double edged sword. Because while they get life on "easy mode" so to speak. They are as a result less likely to be taken seriously.

So I'd say it would depend whether they lazy or ambitious. If she's lazy it probably is an advantage. If she's ambitious it's probably a disadvantage.

Well it probably is easier for women since they usually get cared for by men usually if they can’t care for themselves. They can’t get drafted and not expected to do really physical jobs. You don’t see many homeless women on the streets. They usually live longer too. They do go through childbirth but don’t have to have children if they don’t want to so I guess it’s periods that they have to deal with mostly
