Im talking about the same circumstances involved. Here in the UK they are so many advocates, plenty of MPs saying women should be treated outside the prison system as they commit crime largely thanks to abuse from men.
On average, yes- but only on average.
The UK, in particular, has long been sexist in both society and law. The idea that women need to be held to even lower standards of ethical accountability is beyond idiotic. Just ask Erin Pizzey how THAT line of thinking works out.

It’s sexism. Blatant sexism against men that women claim to want to be equal to men and gain all of these privileges and rights yet don’t want to be treated equal when it comes to law or the draft and things like that. Women are hypocrites

No, but there are differences in situations.
AIUI, since there are so few women's prisons in the UK (I think just 1 in 20 prisoners are women), the average distance from the convict's home is something like 65 miles, men aren't separated from their families by so great a distance. (I know, 65 miles is nothing in America, but they think 100 years is a long time, to make up for it.)
An absent mother arguably makes a bigger difference to a child's life than an absent father, as does being separated from your child.
In other words, it can be an apples and oranges comparison.
Men and women have to be treated the same way
Probably because they dont comit as many violent crimes
Of course not. And also white men should not be treated more leniently than black men for the same crime. Equality before the law.
If women want equality, then punishment should be the same for a similar crime.
No but they clearly are.
nope
the law isn't a game
IDGAF what's between your legs. Sane crime? Same time!
