How do you respond to people who try to dictate your political/party affiliation cause your views don't 100% align with theirs?

I've been a Democrat all my life, have my voter registration and voting record to prove I'm a Democrat, but in todays political world that's not good enough, you either support the Democratic party 100% in every thing they do and believe or fellow Democrats attack and accuse you of of not being a Democrat or a Republican. Same thing happens on the Republican side, you support the Republican party 100% or you get labeled a RINO/Democrat. Far left and right extremist have taken control of both parties, and if you don't 100% support their extreme views, your instantly labeled a fake Democrat/Republican even when your registered Democrat/Republican and voted Democrat/Republican.

whether others vote Republican or Democrat that's their choice... they don't mess with mine either

I'm an old school moderate democrat, not a woke left wing extremist, and in todays Democratic party, is worse then being a Republican.

in real life... I do see a lot of Republicans, Democrats and also people with no leaning and won't vote

I don't really have an issue with either... most people here just live life as it is, no much of political drama

I still do not understand why people must vote for their party. I vote for the one that I think will do the best for our country. A lot of voter have very little idea who they are really voting for. Maybe we should be given a test before we vote.

I'm not a sheep. I make up my own mind. I've never found a political party whose platform I agreed with 100%.
