They have parachuted in some food, which also killed people as not all parachutes opened. They are talking about building a dock for ships to bring in the amount of food needed but people will stave in the next week or two.

So should the US use their landing craft for peaceful purposes and save the people from starving even though the food will also be used to keep terrorists alive.

I think they are trying to weaken the Hamas fighters who won’t come out. I would rather the Israeli have the Palestinians who are non-combatants come out and let the fighters fight it out. It seems that Hamas is using the population as a shield and then seek sympathy when the population suffers.

Hamas seems to be cowardly. I would like food to reach the people that they are using for a shield though.

If Hamas were cowardly they wouldn’t be launching attacks against Israel, or using sooooicide bombers. They have to fight in a way given the conditions and resources they have available to them.

It’s like complaining that the Americans used guerilla warfare and snipers during the Revolutionary War, or the Viet Congress for using booby traps in Vietnam... or Al-Qaeda using roadside bombs and IEDs in Iraq.

They swooped in and killed civilians and raped them. They took many hostages in order to protect themselves. That is cowardly. But the Israelis knew they had to go after them so the cowards hid among children and watched them die. The cowards would gladly have 10,000 children die in order to save themselves. These are not men and certainly do not compare to the US revolutionaries.

Given that that is how you feel that one should fight the way they have to, then Israel is fighting the way they have to and so be it then. You have convinced me.
