This is no doubt gonna trigger a lot of Conservatives and nationalists, which is why I'm going annonymous for thid one, but I HATED having to raise that flag at my work everyday. I think it no longer represents the precedence that this nation was founded on. I look at that flag and I see a piece of fabric that represents woke culture, political correctness, normalization of LGBTism, snitching, lying, selfishness, fakeness, corruption, prudeness, affirmative action, gun violence, playing by the rules instead of doing what's right and overall diminishing morals and detriment of Western culture.
Dude, you sound exactly like a flag raising home boy, and you got it all backwards.
* The flag doesn't represent "woke"; you don't know what woke means. It means being awakened to social injustices and was first used in the Black community. So if you're anti-"woke", you're anti justice. It has zero to do with what the CN's or conservatives have re-associated it with.
* News for you, dude - being lesbian or gay IS normal for the people who ARE Lesbian or gay. I suppose you want to "fix them" because they're sick, huh? The rest of the letters are how they deal with it. Sorry you don't have room for them in your little world. The flag represents the misrepresentation of "freedom and justice for ALL" ... for ALL. Nothing has changed in 250 years - it's still all about wealthy white guys who don't want to pay THEIR taxes because they're rich but want everyone else to.
When you treat the vast majority of the masses like cogs in the wheel that makes you rich, and you don't grease them or throw enough crumbs at them to keep them happy, this is what you get. You and I elected most of these shitheads who perpetuate their masters' wishes, but make no mistake, greed is behind it all. The difference now between Red and Blue, is there's somewhat more freedom of choice with blue as red moves towards fascism. Ultimately, they have the same greedy Masters, only the Blue side will give you a much wider range to roam on and more freedoms.

Red brings to mind the piquant tang of chili peppers, symbolizing the spicy spirit of the Mexicans who gave us Texas and mow our lawns, now that the slaves are in jail.
White, oh so pure and pristine, conjures up the delicate perfume of freshly laundered cotton, symbolizing how we're closer to God than the savages we killed for land.
Blue, the color of the vast, open skies, under which our slaves sweated to grow the cotton needed for the flag, their armpits smelling like pungent skunk spray.
The United States has undeniably shaped world history through its influence and diverse contributions. As a Frenchwoman, I can't help but recognize the positive impact they've had, particularly in the fields of technology, culture and freedom. American innovation has given rise to technological advances that have transformed our daily lives, from smartphones to medical advances. American popular culture, with its music, films and series, has also crossed borders, bringing with it a wind of creativity and entertainment.
However, it was perhaps in the darkest moments of history that American help was most palpable for France. In both world wars, the United States played a decisive role in the liberation of my country. Their intervention was crucial and helped shape the world we live in today. For this, I am deeply grateful. Their support during those difficult times strengthened the bonds between our two nations, creating a friendship and solidarity that endures to this day.
It's important to recognize that history is never one-sided, and that every nation has its shadows and its lights.
For me, this is what the American flag represents.
It's just a flag. Nothing more.

I definitely understand how you feel. There is a cancer growing in our culture. Whether or not it is terminal is hard to say but to this day the flag represents freedom from tyranny and that is why the wokies hate it so much.
These people want you arrested as soon as you say something against them, they want you disarmed so you can't fight back once they do something worth being shot for, they want you thrown in prison even if you have done no wrong and they have been putting people in Maoist black categories since they came to fruition. They want you to own nothing, live in pods, eat bugs and accept it or else you are sleeping with the fishes.
These people are evil and complying with them, or at the very least giving them the benefit of the doubt, is the last thing we should do.
It is important that we make sure that this flag doesn't lose it's meaning. We need to ensure that future generations don't suffer like we did with our boneheaded economic decisions and moral authoritarianism so that they know what freedom really looks like.
To me it means false flag operations, CIA covert ops, the assassination of political leaders in the Third World, coups (like in Ukraine back in 2013/14, in Chile in 1973, Australia in 1975), military adventurism, Hollywood propaganda (ex. Top Gun Maverick), indifference to the world at large (mainly because most Yanks think they are the world, or at least the centre of it), unconditional support for the genocidal, apartheid state of Israel, crazy Rapture Protestants, knuckle-dragging fundamentalists, flat-Earthers, Medieval morality (ooh, boobies - we need to censor that), extremes of wealth inequality, the death penalty for children, MGTOW, incels, feminists, the "me-too" movement and every other (bleep) 'movement', and... ah hell, I could go on FOREVER here!
I say we burn it. BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN!
Back in the 90s and early 2000s it meant for me as the land of opportunity! It stood for being a super power, striving peace and lending a hand to other nations in crisis!
Today its tainted with a whole lot of things that it's impossible to pinpoint on something.
it's the flag of global tyranny and hegemony and the people living under that flag are still influenced by their propaganda machinery to believe that they actually are the "good" guys, which they MOST DEFINITELY aren't :D but that's just my irrelevant opinion.
It means different things to different people. To me, it represents a nation which (while not always successful) has strived to be the best a nation can be.
What does it NOT represent, is just as important. It doesn’t not any specific political party or ideology. In fact while it is symbolic Lt used as a symbol of our NATION it does not represent our GOVERNMENT. The flag represents THE PEOPLE. If we abolished half the silly bureaucracy of the government nobody would mourn and life would probably be better. (We should start with the IRS!). If we lost half our population we would be crushed and heartbroken as a people.
The US is not the policies, acts, decisions, or history of its politicians and bureaucrats. It’s the people who make up this nation and toil with a pure heart for its betterment. THATS who the flag represents, to me.It's a symbol of the United States of America. It represents the US as the country is at the moment just as it represented the US as it was in the past and will represent as it will be in the future.
When I see one it is a 50/50 chance it is either a patriot or a conservative.
Absolutely nothing
Mate you went anon for the wrong group. Most conservatives and nationlists likely agree with you. I left because America is no longer what it was or what it is supposed to be.
All the thing you listed are true. But fall under the heading of work in progress to fix it , you just don't run away at the first hint of trouble you work to fix it not run away from the problem. This is not the first problem we have had. Just read our history relating to the 1950s
If you were a real man and not a coward you wouldn’t do this anonymously.
I have more respect for the Brits and Turks and Europeans who openly hate America on this sight than I do for you.
What are you afraid of? Seriously. America is the one nation you are perfectly fine to criticize, smear, slander, and s4it-talk on this site...
... just not the other countries. 🙄🙄🙄
How will conservatives be triggered? What exactly do you think we're trying to conserve? We're trying to conserve the Western excellence and culture that made America great. To follow the constitution.
As a Brit, it's a terrorist flag, as we ruled that country.
Arrogance, violence, colonialism, oppression racism, ammosexualism, poverty, Christo-fascism, technological supremacy, resilience, leadership, sacrifice, economic, military and cultural behemoth,. .
Better than this one.
just being American and respecting some American principles
Freedom/Place to improve yourself. No other country on earth can I go from making 8 an hour then taking my ass to college then making 45-50. Most places are racist to black people/POC/Brown skin. White mom black dad not going anywhere else besides america where else could I survive. I only know croatian from my mom and thats it dont know french know anyone outside of america. Im happy as fuck can be here
I don't understand why you would throw the LGBT barb in there. It's so weird to me this idea that the world would be better if gays and lesbians had to hide who they were.
To me it represents the USA, a nation of freedom and opportunity.
Every nation has its challenges as you pointed out. But there are still more people wanting to come and live in this country than anywhere else in the world. That stuff isn't America, it's anti-America and it is up to us patriots who love our country to take it back from evil globohomo elites forcing this crap on us!
