What does the American flag mean to YOU?

This is no doubt gonna trigger a lot of Conservatives and nationalists, which is why I'm going annonymous for thid one, but I HATED having to raise that flag at my work everyday. I think it no longer represents the precedence that this nation was founded on. I look at that flag and I see a piece of fabric that represents woke culture, political correctness, normalization of LGBTism, snitching, lying, selfishness, fakeness, corruption, prudeness, affirmative action, gun violence, playing by the rules instead of doing what's right and overall diminishing morals and detriment of Western culture.

* The flag doesn't represent "woke"; you don't know what woke means. It means being awakened to social injustices and was first used in the Black community. So if you're anti-"woke", you're anti justice. It has zero to do with what the CN's or conservatives have re-associated it with.
* News for you, dude - being lesbian or gay IS normal for the people who ARE Lesbian or gay. I suppose you want to "fix them" because they're sick, huh? The rest of the letters are how they deal with it. Sorry you don't have room for them in your little world.

The flag represents the misrepresentation of "freedom and justice for ALL" ... for ALL. Nothing has changed in 250 years - it's still all about wealthy white guys who don't want to pay THEIR taxes because they're rich but want everyone else to.

When you treat the vast majority of the masses like cogs in the wheel that makes you rich, and you don't grease them or throw enough crumbs at them to keep them happy, this is what you get. You and I elected most of these shitheads who perpetuate their masters' wishes, but make no mistake, greed is behind it all. The difference now between Red and Blue, is there's somewhat more freedom of choice with blue as red moves towards fascism. Ultimately, they have the same greedy Masters, only the Blue side will give you a much wider range to roam on and more freedoms.

Red brings to mind the piquant tang of chili peppers, symbolizing the spicy spirit of the Mexicans who gave us Texas and mow our lawns, now that the slaves are in jail.

White, oh so pure and pristine, conjures up the delicate perfume of freshly laundered cotton, symbolizing how we're closer to God than the savages we killed for land.

I definitely understand how you feel. There is a cancer growing in our culture. Whether or not it is terminal is hard to say but to this day the flag represents freedom from tyranny and that is why the wokies hate it so much.

These people want you arrested as soon as you say something against them, they want you disarmed so you can't fight back once they do something worth being shot for, they want you thrown in prison even if you have done no wrong and they have been putting people in Maoist black categories since they came to fruition. They want you to own nothing, live in pods, eat bugs and accept it or else you are sleeping with the fishes.

These people are evil and complying with them, or at the very least giving them the benefit of the doubt, is the last thing we should do.

It is important that we make sure that this flag doesn't lose it's meaning. We need to ensure that future generations don't suffer like we did with our boneheaded economic decisions and moral authoritarianism so that they know what freedom really looks like.

To me it means false flag operations, CIA covert ops, the assassination of political leaders in the Third World, coups (like in Ukraine back in 2013/14, in Chile in 1973, Australia in 1975), military adventurism, Hollywood propaganda (ex. It means different things to different people. To me, it represents a nation which (while not always successful) has strived to be the best a nation can be.

What does it NOT represent, is just as important. It doesn’t not any specific political party or ideology. In fact while it is symbolic Lt used as a symbol of our NATION it does not represent our GOVERNMENT. The flag represents THE PEOPLE. If we abolished half the silly bureaucracy of the government nobody would mourn and life would probably be better. (We should start with the IRS!). If we lost half our population we would be crushed and heartbroken as a people.

The US is not the policies, acts, decisions, or history of its politicians and bureaucrats. It’s the people who make up this nation and toil with a pure heart for its betterment. THATS who the flag represents, to me.
