I had a dream last night that me, and a few people i knew from high school went on a skydiving jump linked together.
We used old school parachutes, similar to the ones used by the 101st airborne in WW2, just a simple circle chute that was opened before we even jumped out.
However, the wind was strong, so strong, I'm talking 100mph wind that tangled up our parachutes. I held on to the bar on the tower, as we were about 1,000 feet from the surface, I held on for dear life, to save myself, and the 10 people who were counting on me not to let us all fall to our deaths.
I succeeded, and the wind died down, and we floated safely to the surface. Among the group, was the girl who I had a crush on, and she's the one who told her friends that I asked her out, and made them laugh at me. (This actually did happen). Among the others were girls who were gorgeous and popular, compared to me, the guy nobody wants to talk to. They all hugged me, and it felt wonderful to feel appreciated and have whatever contempt they may have had for the quiet, strange dude in the corner, it got squashed.
But then, out of nowhere, when we went to a big reunion for high school, a man named Ramel, who'd gone off the rails since graduating, shot two men dead. Another guy I knew since elementary school, Alex, a 7'2" man who i had fights with, and who took verbal shots at me, but none physical in high school, shot back at Ramel.
He missed every shot, and I pulled out my.380 pistol, and shot 6 shots at Ramel from 100yds away. Ramel nearly hit me, my gun was empty, and luckily, I had my Glock 22.
Then there was complete silence, and while I grabbed my Glock 22 in 40 S & W, Alex ran out, and nobody moved. Wondering if the man who was terrorizing them was about to die at the hands of the "weirdo." I got him right in the head. Nobody cared for me, yet I just took out the man who was terrorizing all of them. I felt happy, as I knew they'd all happily testify that I was protecting them
He didn’t say where. But he's no longer here. In my dreams he just asked me like “come on, come with me, let’s go!” With his hand motioning the ‘come here’.
