The first criminal case is almost ready to be heard now in New York. Jury selection is happening, and the trial will start when it is complete. Would you be willing to be a Juror?

+1 yVirtually every juror that was interviewed said they got their news from the New York Times and Google which is very anti trump. One juror said they get their news from MSNBC which is openly far left.
It’s really gross that this is happening in New York City which is a deep blue state. Yes Trump himself is a New Yorker and former Democrat. But that makes liberal New Yorkers only hate him even more.
If Trump gets convicted and sentenced to jail time this is going to make the country look really bad. I know leftists are just giddy and salivating at that happening but the blowback from disgusting partisan law fare is going to tear this country apart.
Trump actually let Hillary Clinton off the hook when he was in office because he knew it looks bad to prosecute former/existing political opposition. But democrats will stop at nothing to try to win.
And this case is 100% bullshit. The only case that had any weight to it was the Florida mishandling of classified documents. But Biden did the exact same thing as he was let off ”for being too old and forgetful to en convicted by a grand jury”. And he’s the sitting f*cking president.

We've seen this criminal operate with impunity for over 50 years. We KNOW him. He's guilty AF - +1 y
@DrPepper12 that’s right. Let’s just pretend every conservative is MAGA Republican.
If you are going to throw the book at Trump then throw the book at ALL of them. Hillary, Biden (father and son) and Obama for the fast and the furious.
Also it doesn’t take “crayons” to see the Biden administration is beyond incompetent. Hyperinflation, border crisis, endless overseas wars, etc. There is a reason his approval rating has been below Trump’s for the last two years despite the full protection of the mass media. Including the protection of tax payer funded media like NPR. - +1 y
Just once I'd like someone to defend Trump without whataboutism. ONCE
- +1 y
@DrPepper12 I think that is probably impossible. What other than whining "what about" are they going to do?

+1 yyes, but I might go to jail for paying the judge to end the trial and stop wasting our money.
Also might get in trouble asking everyone in the courtroom if they ever solicited a prostitute, had X before marriage, or violated other tenants of the Bible... which used to be on the desk in that room but was thrown out. By time I'm done talking, they wouldn't want me there...
I wouldn't want to do it, but if called would.
Why don't they just get some of the illegal... I mean undocumented visitors to do the job, they could use some work and have less opinions than most. Pick some of those X Venezualian prisoners.

+1 yNo. If he's convicted you'll be looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life. Even worse if he becomes president you know he'll take revenge.
We should have a dead pool for the jurors.47 Reply- +1 y
That’s total nonsense. Trump doesn’t go after his adversaries, nor do conservatives. If this is what you believe then you need to stop listening to MSNBC and CNN.

There are people in prison for J6th that weren’t even there that day. Many J6th prisoners haven’t even gotten their day in court yet. Absolute violation of the constitution but this administration doesn’t care about the constitution. Biden is keeping his opponent tied up in court while Biden campaigns. Biden is the true criminal.
- +1 y
@BadApple69 Yeah rep comer is doing a real fine job in that impeachment inquiry. After 18 Mo's he said yesterday to charges of where's the evidence 'you'll see soon". Masters level dumfukery
- +1 y
@DrPepper12 well you and I know there has never been a successful impeachment of a president. Comer is just going through the motions. The house is controlled by the left so no matter what the house does it’ll die in the senate.
There is zero doubt that Biden has been selling his influence throughout his career, Hunter and his brother James made their careers selling Joe’s influence.. but nothing will happen with that.
Joe is also guilty of the same thing they are going after Trump for having classified documents but the special counsel said Joe is a feeble minded old man so shouldn’t or couldn’t stand trial. - +1 y
@BadApple69 Trump refused to return them. Biden didn't. Trump wouldn't let the FBI search, Buden did. So it's not posession of the documents that is the problem.
Yet that isn't even the crime he is currently in jury selection for.
11.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Sure, I'd vote to convict. I'm definitely biased and I'm not paid to be impartial. What's the worst that his supporters will do, kill me? I'm suicidal, I don't give a shit

+1 yYes I would. But I couldn’t be impartial. This case is BS and Alvin Bragg is a major scumbag. Bragg has let numerous people who committed serious crimes back on the streets who then have committed more crimes including murder. Bragg is directly responsible.
And yet he will take Trump to court over a book keeping violation (in Bragg’s mind) that the statute of limitations had ran out on, is a misdemeanor at best.
This is political and yes I would be on the jury and I would find Trump “NOT GUILTY”.
And for the asker of this question never be afraid of telling the truth. If we let fear silence us then we as a people have lost.00 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI don't like the idea of being a juror, but if called I would do it and do it based on the evidence provided in the courtroom—not what I've seen online.
I have a feeling I would be dismissed though, because I'm legally one of the people he's promised to make life a lot harder for if he gets reelected.

+1 yNope, I’d be dismissed so quick.
I’d want Trump to be thrown in jail for the rest of his life. Trump had Jeffrey Epstein killed in jail for even the chance of ratting on him. It’s disgusting how the far right defend a child rapist who will be a convicted felon and vote for him to be the president.10 Reply Firstly I doubt that a foreign national such as myself would be allowed to serve on the jury. Secondly the judge asks you if you can act as an IMPARTIAL juror, which hand on heart I couldn't agree to. No one who regularly reads my comments will be surprised.
20 Reply6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Sure. I'm good at compartmentalizing information and my disgust for Trump is perhaps only outmatched by my disgust for prosecutors. So in fact it is one of the few trials I would view with the hope the protection nails it but also would cheerfully throw it in their face if I found any missteps.

+1 yYes I would. Jury duty is one of the key duties of any citizen. I've served on a few juries in teh past... always try to be open-minded and listen to the evidence presented.

+1 yYou wouldn't be selected anyways you are astoundingly biased like most of the leftists on the matter. I would if called but if not called no. Reality is that I would need hard evidence of crimes not circumstantial evidence to determine guilt beyond reasonable doubt. That is what is needed from a juror and thus far I have seen few people who are able to remain impartial and focus on the facts
00 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No and now I'm super thankful I didn't sign up to vote here in NY. I'm not risking having jury duty especially for trump😣

+1 yIt’s kind of unbelievable he couldn’t get a change of venue. He couldn’t possibly get a fair trial in New York. With all the preceding press, a truly impartial jury might be entirely impossible anyway.

+1 yYes. However I would admit my bias in favor of him and if they fit whatever reason kept me (0% chance with these crazy lib judges) I'd do my best to be impartial and listen to facts, not hearsay and not the semantics our modern society thinks qualifies law.

+1 yWilling? ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY I can give you my vote now: Guilty! I'm in NYC and have seen this prick operate with impunity for 35+ years. He's a criminal. End of story.
21 Reply 2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. That's not likely to happen as I no longer live in the US, but I still lived in the US and I was called for duty on that jury I doubt that I'd make it through the Voir dire as the biased prosecution would do their utmost to remove me from the jury as I'm a "free thinker" and would not likely to follow their narrative.
