There are a lot of similarities between ideology and religion. They are fundamentally about sacred beliefs and they are ways to improve humanity. Non-believers get judged and criticized. But when I listen to people who are steeped in ideology, I also see lots of irrational and inconsistent ideas. Maybe in the future, ideology will begin to decline like religion? What do you think?
it depends wich ideology.
if someone insisted we need to be polite n nice, stubbornly, n nothing can change their opinion= harmless ideology. only oppose the bad parts of fascism. not all fascists.
s If you're talking about religion, then yes I do believe that the world would be a better place without it.
As a non-religious person I understand why some people turn to it when their lives are hard. However, I see religion as a way of creating more division among humans. Instead of being used to help others, religion is often used to justify wars, segregation and persecution.
I honestly don't believe that there will be a decline, especially since the world is getting worse.

It should be up to the citizens to elect the political ideology that they feel works best for them.
Ideology in and of itself is not bad. Refusing to change your view based on evidence is. Refusing to recognize facts is.
Being so entrenched that you see anyone challenging your view as hostile is.
