Yeah, I noticed that. I mean, right now with the inflation yes. But basically what happened to me is they were charging me "tourist prices".
From what I heard, Turks always had a reputation for engaging in dirty business tactics. If it weren’t for that, everything would've been fine

There is this kind of tourist price yes, I can't lie. While my friend from Moldova was traveling with me in Antalya, she first entered that store and they asked for a higher price, then she entered the store with me and the price suddenly dropped.

Egypt is the WORST! I heard even regular retail stores will scam you, and it's best to have a local friend buy everything for you.

Yeah there was one store in Antalya, the guy gave us one price, then the next day he wanted 3 times as much for the same item.
One guy refused to negotiate 'cuz he said the market sets the price and it changed now😂
This was during COVID, I heard it's even worse now.
I think most nationalities are scammers to be honest. I think it was worse in Rome
