Should I move to Los Angeles if I ruined my reputation in New York?

I’m from NYC. I’ve had sexual intercourse with over 100 women, cheated on a lot of women, and I’ve said some things that are considered to be very controversial, right wing, racist, and sexist, to the point that I got local media attention, and I would rather not have children, and for them to find out what I did. California is more successful than New York, and nobody knows me in LA. I think it’s a good way out, better quality of life, better education, better public safety, better food, better entertainment, better weather, beaches, and I don’t have a bad reputation in California.

LA just purged a NYer who tried this. He came in yelling he was from NY and left being hauled away by 13 deputies yelling and kicking the inside of a cop car. The months in between were not pleasant. NYrs with bad reps are good to stay in NY, since you asked. Thanks

I was young and stupid. It’s not the life I live anymore. I didn’t have any rules growing up, no father figure, was allowed to do whatever I want in Brooklyn and Manhattan. For example I could just stay at a party all night at age 15 and not have any authoritative figures check up on me. I had to learn and do everything by myself.

I’m a good person at this point in my life. LA is much more progressive than NY even if people found out, it’s more of a live and let live attitude. For example being a gay man isn’t a big deal but in NY you could run into many problems. I think California attracts people who aren’t accepted in the communities they are from.
