1 yAll the evidence points to her being female, a large woman. The reports of XY chromosomes came from the IBF in Russia, which no longer manages international boxing because of proven corruption; it's possible they DQed her in an event with made-up reasons to give an advantage to Russian boxers.
There are other large women in sports who some say look like a man. WNBA basketball player Britney Griner, for example, and many of the women shot putters at the Paris Olympics.

This exactly! I really really thought about this topic before my final personal thought, and honestly I’m sure Imane has felt completely discouraged from many things average women have no issues with, so why isn’t she allowed to prosper in a sport that allows her disadvantages to shine?
She is a man. She went through male puberty. Doesn't matter what her passport says or how she identifies its still a man beating up a woman.

@kylee2437 Oh, I suppose that's simply an attempt at self-enforced doublethink in order not to get sent to jail.
Biologically speaking, it's pretty simple:
XY - Male
XX - Female - 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused so you are showing your ignorance , not only once but twice. It’s illegal to be trans in the country she is born in, and two , you had not a clue that females can possess XY chromosomes even if they are female.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused and thirdly what the hell happened to people saying the only thing that determines gender is what is in between your legs? Why has that changed all the sudden? You people are proving that these trans extremists people are correct

1 y"Differences in sex development is a set of rare conditions involving genes, hormones and reproductive organs that can cause the sexual development of a person to be different than others, according to the NHS.
Sometimes, this can lead to a person having XY chromosomes but develop otherwise female."
So she's not exactly a woman.

@CalmUntilAbused Google is such a wonderful free tool, you wouldn’t be spewing complete nonsense on every comment if you actually used google instead of using brain rot social media platforms to gain your evidence
- 1 y
There can be only two sexes or genders because there are only two sex chromosomes. To be sure there are genetic abnormalities but they don't constitute different sexes or genders. A lot of the claimed "genders" are in fact sexualities which are fine until you start calling them genders.
There is very little of Marxism that I would accept and a 101 genders certainly isn't part of it. - 1 y
@kylee2437 Oh, could You name the exact genetic abnormality in this situation? You've just began to sound somewhat convincing, but contrary to their usual behaviour, no media I could find declare the condition openly (and while it's somewhat understandable due to such problems being private matters of those afflicted with them, it's also highly out of character for the media as we know them). I have to say that manipulating birth certificates in such a way does sound next to impossible in a country like Algeria, but after so much pointless quarreling (and insults), I shall demand all the data available as proof.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused I can’t announce how many times enough how Google is free. So many people need to go learn something. And if you are so worried I’ll give you a hint. The genetic abnormality is called DSD. Now google up.
- 1 y
@kylee2437 To be honest, Your overly confrontational attitude works wonders against You. I've just found the DSD definition, and unfortunately for You, it seems it's a whole range of afflictions instead of a specific one, including Turner's syndrome and Klinefelter's syndrome, which apparently do not result in higher testosterone production (and which I have already found earlier while searching for specific genetic abnormalities that could result in higher testosterone production for women and thus explain Imane Khelif's condition). Therefore, You insulted me a lot and You have still not specified a specific affliction that would prove Your point. I could also find an article about the very case we're talking about, but it was never stated there that Imane Khelif actually had a DSD affliction (forget specifing one of the whole range of DSD afflictions), which was pointed out by one of the commenters as "there is no proof that Imane Khelif even has DSD", which seems to be true, given that no one really dares to state the specific DSD affliction Imane Khelif is supposed to suffer from. Therefore, all Your effort to employ science in Your favour can basically be considered wasted as of now.
- 1 y
Your arrogant attitude further implies that You might be out of rational arguments, so at this point the only argument in favour of Imane Khelif actually being a woman is the difficulty of manipulating a birth certificate in such a way in a conservative country like Algeria. This argument can be overturned, since some of the DSDs include the genitals being deformed to the point where they resemble neither male nor female genitals, are not functional at all, and since there are no external male characteristics to them, they could easily be mistaken for female genitals, therefore making it possible to falsify the birth certificate (especially since there is probably no option on the certificate that would reflect the truth, namely something along the lines of "genitals deformed and non-functional"). Now, while suffering from one of the rarest DSD afflictions known to humanity would make Imane Khelif a horribly, if inconspicously deformed human that had no part in bringing about their fate, therefore making any actual hostility against Imane Khelif unjustifiable cruelty, it would still leave the question whether Imane Khelif should be allowed to compete against women unsolved. Back to Your own evaluation, Your failure to disclose even the very general DSD suspicion in Your original post while supposedly knowing about it and being expectedly aware that especially with some of the more rare DSD afflictions, they are so unknown to the general public that most people wouldn't even consider them, means that Your goal here might not be to actually defend Imane Khelif, but to instead incite a flame in the comments and get a chance to insult a few people while posing as the righteous one. Do You have anything to add? Mind You, I could have been much more harsh with the evaluation of Your own behaviour and intentions, so I honestly advise You not to resort to insults anymore.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused unfortunately you are a person that doesn’t actually want to understand and wants to argue about what body part is in between someone else’s legs, so you will click the first thing you see and not actually invest time into your thinking like I did, before I have came to conclusions that people in this generation are incredibly gullible which is scary beyond comprehension being we are in 2024.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused and FYI if someone is born with a vagina, they can not be a man. Just to refresh your memory on what you probably argue against transgenders about, but aren’t using your brain to come to terms with what’s going on, with this situation
- 1 y
@kylee2437 Oh, so You decided not to take my advice... Fine then, I'll dig some more. While in general, the idea of "what's between Your legs defines whether You're a man or a woman" is perfectly functional, the very extremely rare DSDs You've mentioned (while also apparently declaring that the DSD is a specific affliction rather than a whole range of afflictions) prove that it's not scientifically correct. Since I am fully aware of at least some of the DSDs, like the aforementioned Turner's syndrome or Klinefelter's syndrome, I've dropped that definition long ago in favour of "Your karyotype defines whether You're a man or a woman", only using the scientifically incorrect definition outside of strictly scientific debates, so Your attempt at an ad personam argument is totally off target. Now, while I am thankful to You for bringing my attention to DSD afflictions even more rare than the Turner's syndrome or the Klinefelter's syndrome, some of which might support the validity of adding a "hermaphrodite" category alongside the well-known "male" and "female" categories, as well as further redesigning my definition of what makes one "male", "female" or (a new addition) "hermaphrodite", Your point is not the least bit closer to being a proven one. Actually, it looks like the solution to Imane Khelif's struggle might be the introduction of a "hermaphrodite" classification for the Olympics, where those afflicted with those admittedly horrible, while extremely rare DSDs could compete against each other without anyone getting triggered for no good reason, invalidating Your claim that Imane Khelif should be allowed to compete with women while still allowing Imane Khelif to compete.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused dig more? If there’s no direct sign of Imane being a man, which would be a penis, then Imane is not a man. But I’m sure you use this same argument against actual transgenders and say their reality is in between their legs. Amazing how your own argument is being used against you in this situation.
Also , did you research at all that Angela actually apologized for how she acted in the ring? She knew she lost fair and square and it’s just morons like you still feeding into propaganda - 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused people like you in this generation are extremely weak and feel like someone with other disadvantages in life can’t use them to prosper in other ways. You’re weak af sorry dude
- 1 y
@kylee2437 Which part of "Since I am fully aware of at least some of the DSDs, like the aforementioned Turner's syndrome or Klinefelter's syndrome, I've dropped that definition long ago in favour of 'Your karyotype defines whether You're a man or a woman', only using the scientifically incorrect definition outside of strictly scientific debates" do You not understand? You're clearly trying to force beliefs into my mind that do not belong there, defending Your image of "the righteous one" even once it's been already disproven.
As for the behaviour of Angela Carini, I find it perfectly justified, given that she might lack an understanding of the situation broad enough to do anything more than simply apologize, and thus, I actually commend it. How are You going to try making me look like the evil one here next? I can't wait to find out, even if it does get a bit tiring. - 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused or she simply apologized because there’s no justification to show that Imane is a man. You are an evil and rather dumb person to allow social media platforms to direct you at perpetual nonsense. Do you even watch boxing and ufc? or did you just bandwagon two fighters you didn’t know until this exact situation?
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused next up Autistic kids that are good at spelling won’t be able to participate in spelling bees because they have had advantage of being too smart in that route, good looking on your part. Just make sure that everyone that has an upper advantage in what they like to do can’t do it because they are too good at it. Great
- 1 y
@kylee2437 Well, it looks like Imane Khelif's testosterone levels are far closer to the male average than they are to the female average, so it's only natural to be suspicious. Basically, performance-wise, it's about equally justified to classify Imane Khelif as a man as it is to classify Imane Khelif as a woman. As for my interest in boxing... There is virtually none. I simply opened this question out of curiosity, expecting an interesting debate. At first, I was a bit disappointed, as it seemed to be a simple case of "trans women are women" delusion at first, but as You actually decided to unveil some surprising details about this case, I can confidently say that I got what I wanted, since I was actually forced to refine my point of view after learning a few most interesting facts about how a human life can get ruined in new and horrifying ways.
Now, about these autism remarks... As someone who has been suspected of suffering from Asperger's syndrome of the autism spectrum, but decided to drop that lead in order to live the most normal life possible, I wouldn't mind having to participate in some school-level competitions in my primary school days in some different category (say, together with some of the other top scorers), so that those who were significantly less capable than me in those fields wouldn't resort to bullying me on a daily basis in order to vent their frustration. It's kind of like top football clubs compete in their own leagues in order not to drag the less capable teams into despair. Also, it's simply much more rewarding to compete against more challenging opponents. So yes, that's actually a pretty sound idea to make a new category for the... let's say... "more testosterone-gifted women" (not to ban them from competing at all, since You once again attempted to twist my words so that it looked like I wanted to actually ban such people from competing altogether, and therefore be able to paint me as the evil one here again). - 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused for someone that writes big paragraphs you seem to lack huge understanding that gender is based on what’s in between your legs. You are trying to sound smart when studies prove what’s in between her legs is NOT what men tend to possess. I don’t even need to write lengthy paragraphs to sound smart when the simplest info can in regards to gender can be explained in the comment I’ve been saying. You can’t say things like “her testosterone levels point her to more of a man” that is NOT how gender works.
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused imagine how Angela feels being called the “less capable” fighter. Angela didn’t work hard all these years to be called “less capable” kind of proves you don’t even watch ufc or boxing, you just won’t shut up about something you have zero clue about
- 1 y
@kylee2437 You're still trying to imply that I subscribe to the idea that what's in between one's legs determines one's gender, which is utterly false. It's a good enough simplification in most cases, but there are some scarce statistical outliers that disprove it, and I fully comprehend that fact. What's more, Your current line of thought would prove that actual transgenders are fakers, since what's between their legs does not match what their claimed gender tends to possess (that's where I agree with You, but it's still much more easily proved scientifically with the karyotype criterium). As for the testosterone thing, it's simply how statistics work. Men have their testosterone levels much higher than women, even though women don't actually have their testosterone levels set at 0 (now that's some trivia, isn't it?). What's more, it's not fuzzy in any statistically important way. A random man will have higher testosterone levels than a random woman in pretty much 100% of cases. Thus, if Imane Khelif's testosterone levels are above all testosterone levels specific for women... It's a really strong statistical and scientific argument in favor of classifying Imane Khelif as a man. Because we know of some DSDs that make a human a functional hermaphrodite, we might conclude that Imane Khelif is neither a man nor a woman, but defending either "male" or "female" classification is a lost cause (though I commend Your effort to stay strictly conservative in Your assumtion that humans can be either men or women - of course, I do not state that there are more than two genders - only that there are apparently some extremely rare cases of humans best described as "genderless").
- 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused ahhh so you are a Gen Z idiot that believes there’s more than two genders. Yeah that’s not how it works in the Olympics, maybe try to stick to surface level talk, and not actual topics that require logic, especially being that it’s illegal to be anything else but male or female in Imane’s country. Not only are you disrespectful to her but you are also disrespectful to her country.
- 1 y
@kylee2437 Oh, so now we're getting emotional? Nice try, but science and emotions don't fit together, unless ethics can be considered a renowned science (but even ethics must be utilitarian to some extent or we end up with remaining idle as the only truly ethical attitude).
Now, I'm not sure about Angela Herself, but as far as I'm concerned, most female athletes are quite vocal against having to compete against male or "manly" athletes. What's more, it's not even about overall capability as a fighter, which includes things like reflexes that don't really depend on testosterone that much, but about the difference in pure brute force output. - 1 y
@CalmUntilAbused the funniest part about this, is Imane’s record doesn’t show she isn’t unbeatable, you are just using Angela’s initial emotional reaction to go off of what you think and that’s quite sad coming from someone that is talking about being emotional. You are going to get blocked soon, I refuse to continue to argue with idiots that believe modern day Gen Z logic.
- 1 y
I would agree there are but not they're. I never failed to grasp the situation and referred to it in some answers on GAG. But neither a genetic combination of other than XX & XY make the person female. Nor does DSD which is a different matter.
If you do a little history you will find the Soviet block was extremely keen on maximizing Olympic medals for it's political value. East Germany in particular was prone to putting XY competitors into women's events.
The IOC quickly instituted genetic testing to validate that competitors in women's events were women. The IOC relies on governing bodies to regulate sports. This has been a political problem in that IBA (International Boxing Assocation) is not recognized by IOC as the the governing body for whatever reasons.
IBA did test Khelif and found he was not a woman and was therefore ineligible to enter women's events. So it is a political stuff up in the main part by IOC relying on governing bodies to regulate sports but not recognizing one for boxing thus leaving boxing unregulated.
The IOC introduced an Others category or as they more nicely put it an Open category but it does not seem to have attracted any entrants. Khelif was quite entitled to enter this category.
As a happy XX (I presume) why do you want to be smacked n the face by an XY in a skirt?

All right (even though it's not a star). Powerful figures (political, cultural, financial, etc.) generally have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo- or at best, changing it in certain very specific ways. That's why so many of them own, or otherwise control, media outlets. I'm not sure where you are, but here in the US, 90% of the mainstream media is owned by six companies. That level of consolidation is utterly insane; it allows those controlling, controlled by, or simply in the favor of the media owners the power to reshape history. The rest of the West is, sadly, not much better.
Now consider the typical transsexual. They want to be, or least live as, the opposite sex. Okay, that's not a big deal; change your clothes and haircut, ask people to refer to you with the other pronouns, and eventually undergo some major surgery. But assuming that you can pass for the opposite sex, you'll generally be treated as though you were one of them. And THAT is a problem- not to you or me, but to those who have a large portion of their power derived from adherence to gender-related social dogmas.
The Feminist, who wants to promote perpetual notions of female victimhood and resentment, is threatened by the MTF who reveals how much better they're treated now; as a person, rather than a source of money, labor, and protection. The Traditionalist conservative, who wants to promote female pedestalization and exclusively masculine leadership, is threatened by the FTM who reveals how much more seriously their ideas and capacities are taken; as an adult, rather than a large child. The rational, normal person, capable (at least to a degree) of grasping subtlety and nuance, would hear these accounts and say "Huh. Maybe we should make some changes to the way we do certain things and look at people based on their sex", and power would change hands. - 1 y
But since you can't silence people in the age of the internet, the media (and its associated figures) turn anything that has the least connections with transsexual people into a "trans issue", to fire up histrionic screamers and polarize the hoi polloi, to make sure they don't stop and think. Since social media has allowed people to isolate themselves from anyone with a different opinion, they interact only with those who agree with them, and gradually lose the ability to see those who disagree as anything but fanatical zealots, challenging the "truth" for no reason other than spite, greed, or to advance their own evil agenda. And since it's also given the public the attention span of a sugared-up goldfish, controversies have to be periodically created to keep people screaming about it (and neither ignoring nor talking reasonably about it), even if they're not really related. Remember the fuffaraw around Dylan Mulvaney being a Bud Light spokeswoman, because... uh... transsexuals can't enjoy light beer, I guess?
Why do people in Russia believe Putin’s propaganda and fight in his stupid war?
