DOJ Says Math Tests For Police Are Racist?

This may seem redundant after my last question on a similar topic, but the DOJ is now suing another police department, this time in South Bend IN stating that physical fitness standards are sexist and math tests are racist for police officers. Thoughts?

For context: The last time the DOJ did this, they won their court battle. They found the written portion of the test was in fact discriminatory towards African American individuals and the physical test was skewed away from female individuals. For simply failing to base these applicants on the responsibilities & if they could perform duties of being a trooper those practices were legally determined to have went against the Civil Rights Act, specifically Title VII. That is all she wrote.

They settled because no small town can compete with the resources of the Federal government. That doesn't address the question though. Is it racist to ask police officers to be able to do basic math?

Females fail the physical standards more than men. Blacks fail the math tests more than whites. Asians fail the least. They sued due to the discrepancy.
