I would like to inform the masse that Donald J Trump didn’t show up for Joe Biden’s inauguration after crying fraud, election interference and dragging his feet about leaving office / transitioning administrations.

Compare this to Vice President Joe Biden certifying the results of President Elect Donald Trump’s win & President Barack Obama forcing a transition period from his administration to Trump’s while attending. Compare this to Vice President Kamala Harris’ concession and President Joe Biden’s transition towards the Trump administration.

Reasons why Biden & Harris don’t have to show up: Trump not only broke the tradition cemented in American culture, he also sent a mob towards the Capitol where future soon to be Vice President Kamala Harris was inside which her life threatened. President Elect Joe Biden was threatened, defamed, and harassed by President Donald Trump with disinformation against a just election, even declaring himself the winner before the election vote was finished being counted / the threshold of 270 was met by either political party candidate for office of President.

Reasons why Biden & Harris should show up: To normalize the peaceful transfer of power, not seeing people as enemies or allies but as Americans (something Trump refused to do), to reinstall & uphold the traditions of this great country, and to showcase that they conceded to the results with the notions it was a free and fair election just as 2020 was and is therefore forcing Americans to move on.

I don’t blame them for not showing up, though I do want them to show up since I expected Trump to concede & show up like a grown ass man with balls yet lacked in prestige, dignity, resolve, and being a good sport instead of a bitter, enraged sore loser. Just a thought.

They both will attend because they understand that is the right thing to do. Trump is not a functional adult which is why he didn't attend in 2021, unlike his Vice President, Mike Pence. Like Pence, Biden and Harris will attend because they are functional adults and realize that Trump genuinely won this election. Attending is an important symbol of the peaceful transferral of power in the United States.

Tradition has the outgoing President and Vice President attend the incoming President's and Vice President's inauguration. It's a symbol of the peaceful transfer of power, and both Biden and Harris have publicly said they will support a peaceful transition.
