Ultimately staying put cost more then sending someone home @naultd It may be less expensive to give them food and shelter for a few months but until you send them home where they can make their own they never stop needing more.

One of the primary objectives of getting rid of them is to force those industries to either automate and thus higher more American tech-labor or pay more for American labor. In general making the American worker a more valuable and less disposable commodity such as is the case in Japan.

This in addition to reducing the demand for our existing finite housing supply.

We can then negotiate if particular sectors like farming or construction can engage in a bracero program where under controlled conditions we allow select populations of workers to be temperately brought in to do a job and then sent back at the employers expense.
