Are you surprised or you already had feeling that this was what happened?
1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Previous reports stated that the virus developed in Wuhan China. More recent files that were secret were exposed that it was believed that the virus originated in China, not America (https://oversight.house.gov/release/classified-state-department-documents-credibly-suggest-covid-19-lab-leak-wenstrup-pushes-for-declassification/ ). As for Jon Stewart, he is a comedian and was acting that way in his rant about America being the source of Covid. Also listen at the end where he states he has been to the Dayton Spring Break Herpes Lab). That was all comedy.
The conspiracy theories being spouted are even more nonsensical then the one that it was developed in a US lab. For instance one person here believes the virus was bio-engineered through gain of function research that was secretly funded by Fauci through the NIH. Americans love to make up bullshit to spread to believing suckers.

1 yI think that it started in the lab in China. We know that America was also funding that research which is a catastrophic failure of government in itself since America should not be funding its largest enemy's research in biological warfare. That Fauci jerk is to blame. He's a traitor.
But regardless of where it was created, China used it as a weapon of biological warfare against the United States because they intentionally flew plane loads of people that they knew were infected with Covid around the world and to the United States.
They banned them from traveling within China, but not from traveling abroad.
When China realized that their population had become infected with something that was going to devastate their economy, the intentionally sent human bombs to America to make sure we suffered the same fate. They wanted to be sure that America would not remain powerful while they lost all their power.
Yet to this day China has never been held accountable. Blaming America is just part of Chinese propaganda efforts. China needs to be accountable and now America has the only president who seems to have any intention of accomplishing that. The Chinese Communists are shaking in their boots. The election of President Trump is the worst thing that could happen to them and they know it. The Democrats were on their side, President Trump is most decidedly not.

It wasn't a US lab, it was a Chinese lab that was heavily funded by US dollars, via Fauci. That's why the left was adamant that the virus never came from the lab, but from a wet market. Dumb people believed that. Heck, even John Stewart saw through that bullshit.

The people who were behind the lab, left China and set up shop in Thailand. Remember that last bill that the Republicans wouldn't sign? It contained more money for gain of function experiments to make more super viruses. Great idea.

1 yThat's fake conspiracy news. The disease started in the Orient and then spread throughout the world. I don't think we'll ever know where the original source was, or what caused it, whether it was natural or man-made, but we can be pretty sure it started somewhere in Asia.

Tom, just so you know, the term "Orient" is no longer used, mostly because it is a culturally insensitive word. Gotten from the internet:
The term "Oriental" was commonly used in the past to refer to people and things associated with Asia, but it began to be viewed as outdated and problematic for several reasons: colonial and Eurocentric connotations, lack of specificity, cultural insensitivity, and stereotyping.
Most people use the word "Asian" to describe people of different parts of Asia. Not all are colonies, as the word Orient implies. - 1 y
@Amy10223 The term Orient comes from the Latin for East, the antonym of Occident for West. It's a perfectly valid term that refers to the countries of Asia. It is not offensive, despite what someone on the Internet might say. A complete description of the term can be found in its Wikipedia article here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orient
- 1 y
Tom, Wikipedia IS the internet. Oriental is an old term used for certain parts of Asia in the 1960's, and before that, and it was coined "Orient" by the UK during the times of Mongolia and Manchuria.
No, "Oriental" is not considered a correct word to use when referring to Asians; it is widely considered outdated and offensive, as it can be seen as a term that exoticizes and stereotypes Asian people, often linked to colonial perspectives; the preferred term is simply "Asian.".

Tom, you aren’t being offensive if you don’t understand the term and what it implies. I suggest you look up the word in more than one source, and you will see. No one uses that word anymore but I’ve seen you mention it a number of times. That’s why I wanted to point it out to you. I’m not trying to be difficult here, I’m trying to make you aware of that. It’s like calling a black person a “negro”. I think you know that.
6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I knew very early on that the virus was bio-engineered through gain of function research that was secretly funded by Fauci through the NIH.
The entire purpose was make a covid virus (common cold) more dangerous, sell the idea that it was a deadly pandemic, create panic, and gain control over humanity by imposing "mandates" and then running in to save the day (and make huge profits) with experimental "gene modification" shots.
I don't believe that it "accidentally" escaped from a lab any more that I believed their blatant lies about it originating from a wet market in Wuhan.
The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, along with the WHO, big pharma, and others were in on it.

1 yIt could have very well been made here BUT it was in China that through gain of function [Trying to make lethal or more lethal as a weapon of war]. Partly paid for by grants from the United States. It was mishandled and released to the public in China and when China found out still allowed travel around the world. till caught then they restricted travel Dr Fauci was the lying bastard who caused the most death and destruction to our way of life with his misinformation and lying, AND NO PRESIDENT TRUMP DID NOT SUGGEST INJECTING BLEACH INTO PEOPLE.!

One thing was confirmed that this virus could never transfer from bat to human in nature. it was specially remodeled for human body.
As it's cousin virus was done. - 1 y
Just a side note about our government handling the virus. Did you notice that the original vaccine card had space for six shots from the first cards issued? Does the six BOOSTER SHOTS spot on the card suggest that they knew from the start. that they had plans or knowledge that COVID would so-called mutate. JUST ASKING!
5.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. The first place it was talked about was Wuhan China. That place has a lot of wet markets with live animals stacked in cages shitting and pissing all over each other. This is a breeding ground for new viruses.
So logically you put a viruse lab in the same place as a volcano lab is next to you guessed it a volcano.
At the end of the day whether it was from a lab or natural it really dosen't matter to how terrible our response was to covid19 or future pandemics. Sure we get to blame someone to what end? People needlessly die and our economy collapse.
10 Reply3.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. "accidentally"
I doubt. The infection chain didn't work as expected and they expected much higher casualties, but the original virus killed too fast and too soon and mutated into less lethal variant. From perspective of a virus killing your host isn't beneficial, because death host cells don't produce produce viruses copies.
00 Reply2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I thought it was definitely the US gov't had contracted out the work to the Wuhan biolab who incompetently caused it's release and the Chinese gov't shut down internal travel to stop internal transmission but let infected people travel overseas.
Genomic analysis. The Chinese gov't has more culpability but the US gov't a fair bit.

1 ythe lab leak theory doesn't matter to me personally. cause covid 19 by itself wasn't bad enough to warrant the measures taken. the measures taken did like 10 times more damage than covid ever would have.
00 Reply 18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. "We judge the virus was not developed as a biological weapon. Most agencies also assess with low confidence that SARS-CoV-2 probably was not genetically engineered"
10 Reply318 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Not surprised. I already knew and told G@G it was a bio weapon stolen multiple times in France, Canada, America and released in China. The Covid-19 pathogen could not evolve on its own, in nature, for 800 years!

You mean good self-interest? Because it was only for their own self-interest that they decided to do it. As for why the rest of the left followed them, that's because that's how they always operate. Whatever it said by the people they consider to be the elites or the authorities, they believe without question
- 1 y
That's the nature of a cult. They don't question what is told to be true because truth is not about what matches what they see, it's about what they are bestowed by the authorities. However, thanks be to god, this very hypocrisy has woken a great many of them up. And as the hypocrisies and lies continue more people wake up
