Not really. Blind trust might be like that but actual trust is built on mutual understanding. That might sound cheesy at first but to understand what motivates someone is to understand when and why they might betray you. If you know when they are going to break your trust then its no longer a surprise and you get to plan around it as well as know when they will be trustworthy.

No. While I get the analogy, I don’t think trust is ever perfect. Trust is built over time and takes faith and work. While broken trust makes it hard to repair a relationship it’s possible to not only repair trust but build it up stronger if both are willing

Kinda, but glass can be remolded. Its a lot of work but if the reason of the distrust is truly removed trust can continue.

Absolutely not. The Japanese have an art (kintsugi) of restoring shattered porcelain items with gold that is proof that things can be restored. Quite beautiful actually
