Laughing it off and saying they “played wrong”. The element of uncertainty and just being completely self assured.

I’m sure China was expecting the US to just cave and roll over but they’re probably just freaking out right now.

All Trump has to do is just idly sit back sipping cocktails a few days and not even pay attention to them (get in their heads) and then at the last minute threaten them with 250% tariffs the day before unless they drop theirs.

The situation almost reminds me of that desperate kid in school that wants attention and everybody to think they’re important, but in reality is just deeply insecure and envious but tries to act tough.

And then they squeal and scream and beg for mercy at the last minute the second you twist their arm.
