In any other country there would be a review of the scientific evidence and a decision made accordingly. But I suspect as usual in America its more about appeasing conspiracy theorists.

I was under the impression American tap water wasn't safe to drink anyway.

We used fluoride in uk. I think when you get into the issue we are essentially adding chemicals that maybe we shouldn't be. We started adding fluoride in 1945 as a health measure but like a lot of things that we were doing after 1945 such as spraying everything with DDT, Asbestos in houses, the food pyramid, lead in fuel, giving new mothers 1950s diet pills etc we then found to actually be harmful.

This another issue with which I'm in agreement with RFK jr. And I knew about the detrimental effects of fluoride before he ever brought it up. I heard it from liberals back in the day.

I would be okay with a national ban. And then educate people.
Let people buy fluoridated tooth paste instead of poisoning the entire population against their will.

It's not natural, and the excuse they used to go ahead and praise it being in the water was pushed because some company contaminated the water from one of their plants and it was a PR move to avoid people suing the shit out of them. Edward Bernays got women to smoke cigarettes of freedom, but I think he would've been proud of the fluoride in the water as well.

I'd not use it and let people buy it at the store if they want it or in their toothpaste or they can sprinkle it on their salad.

I heard the real reason was a method to dispose of industrial waste. whom is creating the flouride and where they gonna dump it?

Several countries no longer add fluoride to the water. And several cities and states in the US don't add it. Fluoride made sense years ago, but with most toothpastes containing fluoride, it's no longer necessary.

It's a neurotoxin for crying out loud. Yes, minute amounts help teeth, but that's in toothpaste and mouthwash.  I filter my water to get rid of the crap governments add to make it "safe".
