1 yNo.
There are men and there are women. It will lead to societal chaos to legitimize this craziness.
It is a woman or man CHOOSING to live their life as if they are the opposite sex. They can change their name and get hormones (how doctors who take an oath to do no harm actually consent to cutting up healthy body parts and giving hormones is beyond me, it seems unethical), they can live as if they are another sex but legally? No.
You cannot be on the girl's sports teams and go in the women's changing room, the gynecologist doesn't have to have medical records that you are a "woman" and give a pap smear to a person with a penis.
No.
Do not humor this. It leads to societal madness.

1 yNo because scientifically its not real.
There are only 2 genders, male and female, and gender = biological sex organ configuration.
The closest you can get to having a third gender is being a hermaphrodite, or just having all your sex organs removed.
The former is still just the original 2 genders, thus is part of that binary, the second is body mutilation and should be legally banned.10 Reply

1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No. That's not a gender. It's a sexual orientation. Essentially it's a feeling. Your gender isn't a feeling, it's a provable medical fact.
The fact that some people let themselves be confused about that (or took advantage of other people's confusion) for so long is insane.
It would be like me having a bank account with $100 in it and going to the bank and asking to withdraw $5,000,000, and when the bank says I don't have nearly that many funds available, I insisted that I *identify* as a billionaire, therefore I demand my money. That bank would quite rightly kick me out.
Your feelings don't define reality. Not yours and not mine.
When it comes to gender, it's pretty simple: do you have XX chromosomes, or XY chromosomes. And, yes, there are a TINY number of people who are medical exceptions to this, but they were not the ones making all the issues. It was the people who demanded special privileges and treatment because of how they FELT about their "gender." And they pushed it so incredibly far that they've set a legal precedent that shut the whole thing down from the highest levels, both in the US and the UK. They abused whatever grace they would have otherwise had, and now they get nothing.
10 Reply3.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes because gender is not sex, therefore if you go to doctors they can just ask your sex instead. And your gender can be legally whatever who cares.
Very simple solve and for sports you just have it by Sex not Gender duh.
Everyone knows there is no way to actually change sex yet so this logic applying makes the most sense until we develop a way to change that one day. And if we ever do we'll then it's going to become a lot more hard to define this stuff, and I am sure it will happen if humans manage to live more centuries.

1 yno. because "not being 100% one thing or 100% the other thing" doesn't make you a third thing when speaking about a spectrum between 2 points. like being 50%male 50% female doesn't make you something else. i thought we all agree on the fact that gender is a spectrum. why would we need to give a name to every micro dot on that spectrum?
like we have males who provide sperm and women who provide eggs. what's the third? if you do none of that, you don't have a gender i guess. that's not a 3rd gender. that's almost as dumb as saying that atheism is a religion. not being christian or muslim doesn't make you another religion. it's not a religion. it's not a gender. that's what it is.00 Reply - 419 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yLaws need to be based on reality not fantasy. Every mammal is a binary species. Every species no matter how low the intelligence is can tell the difference between a male and female.. but somehow liberals are confused.. kind of sad really, it's amazing they can even manage to get dressed in the morning
30 Reply European court of Human rights decided recently there are only 2 genders, men are always male and women always female, so therefore in reality no matter what gender you say you are in reality you can only be male or female.

1 yI think the thought of government defining gender is idiotic and a pointless distraction technique. Used by both pro and con for group value signalling and political distraction. So alrherica and bathroom signs really mean anything significant in life to me. No no it doesn't.

1 yNo. Genders are social constructs. The only thing that really matters in regards to gender are the behaviors that are intrinsic with them, i. e., Man and Woman. That aside, the only paramount is sex: Male and Female. A man being a male human, and a woman, being a female human.

Anonymous(18-24)1 yIt doesn’t need to recognize anything as an extra gender.
Here is my philosophy, just have M or F then subheading of that Trans, Nonbinary, Pan, or whatever else. That way people who are ‘conservative’ get appeased while the LGBTQ+ community gets their dignity, respect, and acknowledgement they deserve.

1 yNo. Laws should be based on something measurable, sex, determined by chromosomes. Gender is a vague, unmeasurable term created by humans. Gender has no place in law.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yHere is a thing. I am a transwoman and i will exlain. When a man or woman claim that they want to live as a opposite gender they should be protected by other gender not as a trans. They should choose to be either male or female not as a trans. You become a woman or man not a trans. Trans right dont exist. Only mens right and womans righg. They havd to pick either side

00 Reply 5.7K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No, that's ridiculous. "Non-binary" is a continuum of possibilities and are not categorizable into a single "third gender".

Maybe some alien species has three sexes, but no known species on planet Earth is like that.
