the results are for bundy, thus answering the question. it doesn't mean they said them, but "they could've". i actually said those words to my sister in conversation a couple of nights ago.

I know of Bundy not so much of the other and don't remember such line, plus several documentaries never mentioned it, so voted the other.

(After looking it up not spoiling myself before I voted to cheat it now makes sense why I've never heard of this before. It was never an official statement made and made up from assertions much like Gacy's final words 'Kiss my Ass' was not real, the prosecutor who saw the execution said he didn't say anything and that's a urban myth).
