When I saw a meme someone posted which had her say, “Well, habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country and suspend their rights..." I thought it was inaccurate so, I wanted to watch her testimony for myself.

Only to find that, it was correctly quoted which made me feel embarrassed to have this level of incompetency in US Govt. Like this is the least qualified person to hold that Secretary of Homeland Security title ever appointed and it is a public outrage everyday she represents the American people.

Same with President Trump not understanding that his priority as President is to uphold the US Constitution and the laws surrounding it. He failed to recognize during an interview and he claimed he had to talk to his ‘brilliant lawyers’ before making a stance… It was in the Oath of Office which comes from The Constitution. Clearly, he doesn’t read or understand basic fundamentals which some people overlook ig.

Truthfully, I had to look up what Habeas corpus was. Kristi Noem can tell you how many illegal aliens have been deported, how many illegal aliens are still in the country, how many ICE agents it takes to provide a safe environment for an arrest. She odes not need to know an arcane legal term.

She graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Political Science. She is not an attorney.
