Israel's plan was to sink the ship & blame Egypt. But the Liberty didn't sink. Survivors said Israel Defense Forces bombers & Naval vessels were close enough that their personnel & flags could be plainly seen.

President Lyndon Baines Johnson ordered the U. S. Navy not to retaliate & survivors were threatened with prosecution if they revealed what happened. Why?

Should have sent aircraft carriers in and blasted them a bit, but at the time there were issues around "nuclear weapons", who knows what really went on... lets open up those documents! @Lliam and i've been reading that the israeli's are just as bad and worse even. gay israeli's (and there are so many) rape the palestinians everyday! it's seen as weird if you don't torture them somehow. a story just recently (i think) came out about a palestinian man that was brutally raped by israeli soldiers, so bad he had to be hospitalized. i don't remember if he made it but rape and torture is commonplace for these chosen people. they like to say the palestinians did this and that but the truth is they do exactly the same!
