Without warning, Israel Defense Forces struck the unarmed U. S. S. Liberty in international waters with 821 bombs and torpedos, murdered 34 U. S. sailors, & injured 171 more. Two-thirds of the crew, injured or killed. It was the deadliest assault on a US ship since World War II.

Israel attacked its neighbors at the same time, prior to any declaration of war. A day of infamy. That's how the Apartheid Regime stole the West Bank, East Jerusalem, Golan Heights and Gaza Strip.

Israel's plan was to sink the ship & blame Egypt. But the Liberty didn't sink. Survivors said Israel Defense Forces bombers & Naval vessels were close enough that their personnel & flags could be plainly seen.

President Lyndon Baines Johnson ordered the U. S. Navy not to retaliate & survivors were threatened with prosecution if they revealed what happened. Why?
