I mean, not exactly. Just as long as he’s not overdoing it, I think he’s fine.
Strongly disagree.

I don't care what my potential boyfriend does in his free time, he could collect post stamps, put together plastic models, making battlefields with thin soldiers or even play video games, as long as he isn't negatively affected with this hobby and doesn't neglect our relationship.
Honestly, watching 8 hours social media on phone or idiotic series on streaming services could be considered as dumb from other people's reference point. That's why I would think twice from both ends before I make a judgment about others, especially if there is a thing manipulative social media psychologists try to connote as negative black/red flag, like currently """video game and porn addicted white males, who don't want to die in our wars..."""
What does playing video games has to do with being real men? I think it's alright to play as long as you're playing for a bit as a way to relax/have fun. It's stress busters for some. The only time I'll have a problem is when someone plays for hours everyday and don't take care of the responsibilities.
''Real men'' - will not allow others to specify what makes them ''real''.
Anyhow, ... to be 'real': one needs to know, to understand, and to control oneself.
Or one is just a boy.
A real man does not allow a video game obsession to interfere with his work and family/relationship obligations.

My husband and I both play video games, and he is considered by many to be an exceptional man.
It's weird to me that even many old guys will say stuff like that, then spend just as much time sitting around watching TV. It's just silly.
I just went into the PC room and poked my man. I can confirm he's real. At least it responded and asked "hey, what was that for now" - allowed myself to translate there and then it proceeded to slap my ass.
As soon as i hear or read “Real men don’t (or do)…”, i can be confident that i can wipe my patootie with the rest of the words. It’s always conjecture, and it’s almost always nonsense. Especially when it comes from a female.
Total BS. Anyone can play video games and i highly encourage it. There have been studies that show that it helps with mental acuity and reflexes. I play games and so does my boyfriend. It makes for a great way to spend time together.
what if there was a dating video game... that be fun.
I agree... we dont have time other than when playing with family.
I know several real men who meet up with fatherless children early weekend mornings to play video games in mass through their systems. They all love it.
It's healthier and more beneficial to do other types of games but as a lazy boy activity to chill and let go it's not bad
Nah that's some prejudiced bs. A hobby is a hobby, not a proof or disproof of masculinity.
That's like saying real men don't listen to music or real men don't read.
Disagree anyone can play video games including men. It doesn't make them less of a man
Define what a "real man" is and we can talk about it.
well it's better than the hobby that "real men" typically have which is being an acloholic, getting wasted with the bros xD
Real men don't spend all day, every day playing video games!
Video games are a waste of time and brain power.
I dont care if its true or not. all I know is that I got my remote controls and my balls and I dont break them for anyone!
BS. Video games have INNUMERABLE benefits!! It's a weapon or a tool. Depends on the user.
I mean, not exactly. Just as long as he’s not overdoing it, I think he’s fine.
Is Henry Cavill men enough?
I completely disagree, it's a hobby.
Sounds like a toxic person made that comment.
