Isn't this timeless wisdom from President Johnson especially relevant now?

No, more relevant to today's democrat policies is the quote of his that when he passed the Civil Rights Act in 1964 which made black people dependent on the government. He said that he will "have those n******* voting Democrat for the next 200 years."
Now they have imported another voting block that is dependent on the government,
Wow, you're not doing such a great job of hiding your racism! Here we go again with this b******* of all of the blacks and Hispanics depending on the government, right? There are more whites in this country per capita who are dependent on the government! But, you want to live in a fantasy world where you think whites are at the top of the mountain carrying everybody else's weight! Keep believing all of your racist tropes! Of course, you don't give a s*** about civil rights or voting rights! You are a true MAGAT!!! Congratulations!
At least you can read! He was a redneck from Texas who told the fucking truth!
LBJ was a flawed man but at the end of the day he had a conscience and tried to do some good. And yeah, that wisdom has always been relevant.

Yes, it is. Trump's sole talent is exploiting that.
This truth doesn’t apply only to racial prejudices though. Lots of people are voting against their own best interests for ridiculous reasons. The ENTIRE two-party farce is based on that same con.
It's completely irrelevant today. But we all know what a racist LBJ was.
Damn that's about as good as his other famous quote! The man did know how to finesse a syllable.
Democrats never change.
Truth hurts, huh?
