I don’t like the idea that I need my ID to access things on the internet. I already hate living in Tennessee, the state that now requires porn websites to confirm the age of their users. Instead of going about that, because I don’t need fucking Pornhub to have a copy of my driver’s license when I don’t even get carded for buying a dildo at the sex shop, I just use a VPN. I don’t need this incredibly sensitive private information, like my full name and address, in the hands of websites that are not made to house that data. It’s all just a bigger expansion of the wiretaps the government already has in our computers and phones and I fucking hate it.

Very against it. We've had digital ID for a long time. The magnetic strip on your driver's license is digital ID. Some stores want to scan the ID when buying alcohol, but I refuse to let them.
