Once upon a time, the human race spoke a single language. This language was Sanskrit or ancient Hindi. Then something happened and our languages split apart. You could say we dispersed to different regions. That's why we came up with different words in different geographical regions. But why did we start using a different word for “pen”, my friend? Why did we name it completely differently? If the word pen, for example, had evolved into "pan" or "pin", I would understand that. At least if there are similarities, if there is a change with small nuances, I would understand that, but otherwise it is ridiculous.
In religious texts;
In the Torah, this event is referred to as the Tower of Babel.
Genesis 11:1-9 (summary) :
"The whole world was speaking the same language.
The people settled in the land of Shinar (Babylon) and decided to build a tower that would reach the sky.
The Lord saw their arrogant behavior and said:
'One people, one language... No matter what they do, nothing will be impossible for them anymore. ' Then God confused their languages so that they could not understand each other.
So they dispersed throughout the earth and stopped building the tower.
The Quran says:
"The creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your languages and colors, are among the signs of Him (Allah).
Indeed, there are lessons in this for those who know.
“O people! We created you from a male and a female. We divided you into nations and tribes so that you would know each other and take care of each other.
It says this, but it does not talk about how this change and transformation developed.

Humans were migrating around the world long before any true language existed.
Many languages developed in isolation from each other
So we were monkeys 🤭
I said humans were migrating not Monkeys were, but do I think we magically sprang into being with a language no, I believe in evolution. Humans are part of the primate genus. Plenty of research has been done, the 'celts' (a blanket term that covers a lot of ancient peoples) originated from the steppes in Asia
You said that people were migrating around the world long before a real language emerged. I interpreted that to mean we were like monkeys that didn't know how to speak before🙂. (Referring to the theory of evolution). Yes, the Celts came from Anatolia, from present-day Turkey, and I think I have a bit of Celtic blood in me too. I have red beard😅
Most people do accross Europe, sadly the celts didn't have a good time of it though. Virtually all were overrun, conquered, exterminated. Wales was the only place that really remained celt and even there only in part
The Celts actually still exist. Scotland and Ireland are the continuation of this people
The original Irish aren't actually the traditional celts of Asia origin. They are far more unique. The picts migrated from Ireland to Scotland and between them and Norwegian raiders/settlers largely did for the celts that had inhabited Scotland before (there would of course have been some intermingling between all 3)
But they all look alike, the Irish. 😂
Don't let my gran hear you say that, she'd whip you bloody for suggesting she was like a dubliner
Hahahhaha, but Ireland is the land of redheads. Am I lying?😂😂😂
Like a Chinese, Korean, or Japanese person😅
I don't believe the once upon a time single language thing. Languages in different regions can have evolved completely independently.
Did Adam and Eve's children speak different languages when they were born?
Your assuming I believe that story to begin with.
So you don't believe in religious?
I am not a believer in the abrahamic religions which leaves more possibilities open to how things could have began.
I understood. Okay buddy
