Trending & News I was 24 but I don't really like the question. It happens when it happens. Sure everyone should strive for it and parent's can help cultivate it but setting a hard rule is ass backwards.
I got help from my dad with a car loan and budgeting for these kind of loans. ultimately I got better then him making money work for me. I should say i do live a privilege life but I still need to give myself credit playing my cards better than most.
Putting together how privilege I am and how good I played my cards. It's a bit spooky that our society can hold together in my opinion...
Sin, 16 very independent and ready to be on his own… but society won’t let him… so he has to go through HS etc…
my daughter is 18… far from being independent… will continue to guide her prob till around 30 ish…
me? I was independent around 2-3 years old. By 8-9 I was making my own money to buy food… around 13-14… supporting my little sister and parents.. so it all depends.
That is incredibly relative to the region and culture of the person in question. In a lot of middle eastern countries, “independence” aka moving out of mon and dad’s house, is solely dependent on one’s marital status. You can stay with your parents until they die if you never marry.
