How should Europe deal with its future marginalisation in the world?

Wait until US and China start to fight, then sell them both weapons and resources. Getting rich while not participating in wars it the best option. Russia can't do much in next 10-20 years and isn't really a threat even though EU politician try to cause panic to boost money spending in military sector. However ammunition and explosives production multiplication is rather dictated with desire to supply upcoming conflict in Pacific.
EU has just to change priorities, especially Germany that was completely focused on production of nitrates and other products out of cheap Russian gas. ITER, Cern are in EU, Ariane 5 brought Web Telescope to L2 position which US space companies couldn't, Airbus sells more aircraft than Boeing. I don't think EU is technologically somehow handicapped. Who complains are just some car corporations who are accustomed over decades to build too expensive cars, can't tolerate any competition, then shout the "end is near" and chemical concerns who wanted used cheap gas to produce fertilizer.

The state needs to shrink massively, and stop rooting through every aspect of our lives. People need to get off their arse and get back to work. A wholesale toughening up is required.

It's simple. Economic, demographic and military marginalisation, and consequently geopolitical marginalisation.
