What do you think may be a reason why most Greenlanders don’t want to be American?

I have heard all residents in Greenland have free healthcare and university.

Not all residents in the USA have free healthcare and university.

There could be other reasons but I think that may be at least one reason why.

Also affordable healthcare is pretty much a standard in Western countries, the US is the big exception. We don't choose who we want to be based on something like that.

How about China offers the US to become a part of their country and offer people some money to support it? The outcry would be huge and many Americans would feel offended. But if the US does it to others it's apparently a normal thing.
