How often do you smile at someone when you are at a public space?

I try always to be kind. I wish a nice day when I am in the supermarket the people who are at the cashier. Or if I asked anything I say thank you and tell them the same.

Those people are happy for good words I believe.

So i always try to show that kindness makes the world more friendly and costs only a smile :) !

Of course that happens, sometimes we might have bad day or even some pressure at some period and seeing someone behaving kindly toward you that's really refreshing, at least it can relieve some pressure

Fairly often , but only when it feels natural.

A smile can be simple acknowledgment, friendliness, or appreciation of a moment. Not every glance needs a smile, but letting positivity show when it arises keeps interactions lighter and more human.

Quite often!! I got used to it when I was working at Cedar Point 47 years ago and continued doing it when I got back here. Mom used to ask me why I'm always waving at or saying hello to total strangers. I'm not hurting anyone, am I? And, who knows, maybe it'll open the door to a great friendship!!

Pretty much any time we catch eachothers gaze. I think a lot of the time people get nervous when that happens so I'll try a warm smile and a nod.

Sometimes that's all you need to start a convo that ends in a connection with someone.
