Would You Ever Spend Money on a Private Club Membership?

I’ve been seeing more people joining private clubs, lounges, and social groups that offer membership cards with perks like priority entry, discounts, and special events. Do people join for real benefits, or is it more about image and social status? Would you personally invest in one?

I’m already a member of my home town’s sports club
Not by choice but my dad has been a member for 50 years and some of my relatives are founders


I don’t see the hype.


I might be interested in a social club if it allowed me to connect with likeminded people in a positive way


But I don’t feel this need to seek other people’s validation to feel good about myself

Exclusivity is a marketing technique used to separate insecure idiots from their money. And those are nearly always the people I DO NOT want around me. So no, I'm not trying to get noticed or impress people I don't even like. I prefer to fly under the radar and move through life invisible to 99% of the population.
