Has the Trump economy hurt you and your family?

I want to point out the above image is a box of pourage... you know... the poor man's dish? $5 for this!!! In fact, most everything I have encountered at the grocery store is $4-$5 each, sometimes even more! This is a grocery store in east Tennessee by the way, where the cost of living is supposedly lower than the national average. You have to remember, this adds up. On top of inflated fuel prices, utilities, and a lot of basic expenses, this is driving the lower class and even a lot of middle class families into the ground.

My wife and I live under our means, most everything is holding up ok... job, opportunities for the kids, financial accounts, can find most help we need... although it's getting very expensive. I don't personally know anyone hurt, but I do think people whom are single, don't have parental support... it's harder to get started due to lack of housing, cost of housing, cost of things. People need to learn to cut back, prioritize. Society lived high on the hog and we are losing our standard of living, slowly. It shows.

So I'd say hurt, but not much yet. I think in time, the inflation will impact us and everyone, we just try to stay up with it... it's been going since 1913ish.

Nope, still doing great. Here are some tips to help you out though, since you can't figure out how to budget:

20lbs jasmine rice: $24
12lbs of lentils: $17 dollars

Gives you all the nutrients you needs and will last you a couple of weeks. Portion that out so that you can lose weight and save money until your lazy wife gets a job that will helps y'all afford to be adults.

No, my investment account is at an all time high, I got a total hip replacement this years and only paid a 20 dollar co pay, I have a good job and will get a raise this year. I got a nice tax refund this year. Every year I usually pay 2-3 thousand dollars. Big deal if I pay another 50 bucks for gas every month. I will take the Trump economy over what we had when Biden was president anyday.

No. If anything the opposite. But i don't CREDIT Trump for that. I'm just saying Trumps policies presented the opportunities that i have been able to take advantage of. I'm fully expecting the impending health care crisis to more than make up for that. I don't put that on Trump either. That would've happened whoever was president. But i do think we have not seen the full effect of Trumps policies. I do think there is a lot of pain to come.

The stupid war with Iran has increased oil prices which increases the price of airline tickets and everything else. The tariffs also increase prices. He's a wrecking ball.

It's better than Biden for sure but my rent is still climbing. One of my biggest criticisms of Trump is that he floats fantastic ideas but he rarely acts on them. I recall he talked about abolishing the federal income tax for anyone making under 100k/year. Going through with that would have guaranteed the midterms, regardless of Iran because people would have so much more disposable income that the high gas prices wouldn't be as painful.
