Trending & News The only other option is to honestly reflect on the fact that they wasted an exorbitant amount of time, energy and money on a mostly worthless piece of paper. Only to turn around and beg democrats to force the working class to pay off their lousy decisions.
Someone told those nitwits that a college degree would allow them to rule the world. Guess who told them that…
the same people who PROFITED from their ignorance and gullibility, the banks who cut the loans and the colleges that profit whether their graduates go on to cure cancer or die of starvation. The idiots most likely to b*tch about “capitalism” are contributing to the corruption in a bigger way than most. Still they look down their nose at the rest of us.
If paid what they pay now for a college degree i'd by walking around with picture of in my wallet like a proud parent showing off pictures of thier kids.😆
I look at as really no different than most jobs. I talked to a guy who did hiring for his firm and i asked him one day which he leans more on, job experience or degrees. And he said, "degrees, without question". Which took me aback because he was around my age and i thought he'd say the opposite. But he said, most don't turn out very well and i have to be able to defend my choice. And the simple fact of the matter is the company leans more towards education.
There you have it in a nutshell.

Maybe it's insecurity. They feel the need to justify their own education. I have 3 degrees, accounting, finance, MBA. I know plenty of people who are smart without any degree. IQ is not taught, it's innate. As long as you're curious and enjoy learning, you're probably OK.
They're sometimes right. True that the privilege of learning how to read and write is no longer exclusive for the royal elite, but there are cases where college does mean something. Nothing about being "informed", the information is accessible without it but in some fields the tools and chance to practice skills are hard to come by outside of college.
Remember that next time those college educated morons are begging the government to force us blue collar dummies to pay off their lousy decisions.
All a college degree says about you is that you are privileged.
A college degree is a credential for certain types of jobs. It tells employers that you have studied the bare minimum to be consider for a job. All employers know you will need to be trained if they hire you, but that you have the background knowledge that is necessary for their field of work. Can other people learn that knowledge? Sure. Will it take a significantly longer period to train an uneducated person in a new field like Chemistry or Molecular Genetics? Yes. Thus employers expect you to go get a degree to establish that you are willing to train yourself. The same goes for any other type of credential like becoming an electrician. Do you think a college educated person can't do electrical work if they aren't a licence electrician in your state? They can learn how, but they are not allowed to do it for others without a licence. It's the same concept regardless of if you were trained for a blue collar or white collar job.
That's not the same, one requires actual hands on training
Well I can see why they think you are a helpless infant that is incapable of learning. Chemists and Molecular geneticists spend half their education in laboratories getting hands on training with specialized equipment and becoming skilled at standardized protocols. It seems like you have no clue what happens at college.
just as an apprentice to an electrician has to learn how to use specific tools and to carry specific tasks, so to do scientists. A Master Electrician trains an apprentice just as a Scientists with a Ph. D (professor) trains a college student.
I'm not talking about them, I'm talking about the other 99% of majors that don't require hands on training, stupid fuck
I know you went and it didn't change the fact that you're a retard
You couldn't understand a quarter of the things I know.
I understand that you are stupid, something you're unaware of
You can't even come up with original insults, you just go to my early posts and copy mine. You're a copy and paste bot.
All you do is falter
in my opinion if you have zero interest in anything academic then you don’t even need HS which is nothing but college prep. I know what you mean. They think only one way. Their way only. They’re too narrow minded to think it isn’t the money it’s the job satisfaction and some of us would much rather be working on or around planes. They never think about we blue collar workers. We’re invisible to them. But fuck what they say. Follow your dream no matter what and dreams do come true.
because in some cases, it is true...
but not always, no... definitely not
Not all college graduates have this idea. Many people acquire degress but have no education, and many people become educated without attending college.
The same reason no hillbilly has ever run a corporation or shown any talent in being informed and thinking for themselves.
Do better, kiddo.
Get a personality you low IQ retard
It is a bill of goods that colleges have sold them.
@slatyb not everyone is smart enough to educate themself by reading all books and understanding math and science.
Because they are elitist.
