There's this kid I know who always talks out his ass. The first time I met him I'm talking about cars in a group and he starts talking over me to ramble about nonsense. Everyone is looking at him like 🫩😖

I straight up told him dude I like you, you don't need to act like you know about stuff you don't know. Believe me, it's not good to know everything because everyone hates you. You look way better asking questions.

We hugged it out and to my surprise he took the advice for a while before slowly succumbing to the clutches of his old habit. Lately it's been bad and Jesus I forgot how annoying it is.

He's telling me how bad the internet in his house is and then he gets 370 on speed test... He starts talking about how it's because the house is on 5g "which is meant for things like your TV, your microwave oven, regular appliances because it doesn't penetrate" instead of 2.4 which is meant for gaming because it's better.

I'm like bro I don't even know where to start with you. 😂

Lol, yes, a couple of friends somehow fit that description. Each for different reasons I actually thought of, over time...

One guy wrongly assumes you already know references & context he uses, so you have to make him explain that as he speaks if you want a chance to understand him. Also, his co-workers seem to say that no one really understands how the code he produces works, yet it works lol

One girl regularly assume that you're in charge of finishing her sentences and/or able to replace her vague terminology with the accurate one. Meaning you have to replace this/that/stuff/thing or any placeholder word, she throws at you, with the fitting, exact words.

Yes, and sometimes I think it's less about how they speak and more about how they explain things. Some people jump between thoughts so quickly that you end up more confused after they finish talking.
