Is the government's three-day warning real, and should I stock up on baby essentials?

I'm worried about the recent government advice to prepare for three days of emergency disruption. After seeing what happened with COVID, I don't want to dismiss the warnings and then find myself unprepared. My biggest concern is making sure my baby has enough essentials, particularly formula milk, nappies and drinking water. I've checked our supplies and realised she hasn't got many nappies left, so I want to make sure we're prepared.

I think covid was a set up if im honest so I dont have much trust in the government but either way I dont know if its fear mongering or genuine. Either way do I really need to stock up tomorrow just incase people start going crazy and buy everything up?
