I’m not a big fan of Trump either, but literally essentially all the Democrats now embrace what would’ve been considered far left social policies not that many years ago. These people are really extreme. That is not an alternative.

It’s not even a political issue anymore. It’s about a thick layer of moral indecency that I could never in good conscience wade through to even get to the debate table with them.
I am absolutely AGHAST at who the right —even the moderate right (and some “moderate” Democrats)— have shown themselves to be, just as humans. I truly view them as animals now, and I don’t relish having to say that, nor do I throw it around lightly. I am HORRIFIED by these people’s values and worldview. HORRIFIED.

Antifa Aktion during Germany they were the brown shirts. Antifa now are the Nazi brown shirts attacking people who support America, etc... Don't believe the democrats or the news when they say Americans are Nazis if they don't support democrat talking points, or their multiple NGO organizations.
Most people assume the news isn't leading them, which sadly they are. Obama made it legal for the news to push propaganda before he left office. Tried telling people in person, but they got angry and almost wanted to assault me because any talk against Barack to them seems like an attack on something holy.
The internet hasn't shut down because the president is currently getting attacked and living rent free in everyone's heads for over ten years.
How would the internet react and handle itself once juicy scandal, gossip, salacious or disturbing pictures of Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama would get released? I. E wearing Muslim attire, holding an AK-47 against troops and the American flag?

In a similar spot. The two parties shift around over time and the left slid far left, which I think is the nature of how they think. I don't see changing their minds, both parties are coagulated and controlled by the media feeds and messaging. You've seen a few dems leave to go right whom are really middle. There's some right people I think that would slide middle because of Trumps policies which are a bitter pill to many.
I think the answer is they cannot or they have to despise Trump or the right so much they press the left button or the middle one.

It basically comes down to how deplorable you think the Republican party has become.
When i was young i was Republican. Slowly the Republican party left me. I didn't leave them. Over the years. I've went from Republican to a libertarian to a constitutionalist. I still believe in small gov't i've always believed in small gov't. But just because i believe in small gov't does not mean i want a system that only works for a select few. And more and more that is what the republican party has been becoming. I've said i'll never vote denocrat. But this might be the election that swings it for me. What happens in my home state is going to play a big part in it for me.
You know... so many of us that are not such big fans of Trump just forced to be here because of their outrage against him.
What makes you think they're reasonable? Before 2016 they were mostly arguing that the earth is flat, that space is fake, and then went on to say trans women are real women. We're dealing with the people we should've put in crazy houses decades ago. Now they're onto some race war shit just trying to wake up the great white dragon like it's going to work out in their favor as if we haven't destroyed everything we've ever really gone to war with.
This isn't going to end well... and it's because of them.

It’s about following candidates versus the party. Some candidates are solid. It’s just as silly to rule a candidate out because of their party as it is to automatically vote for them because of their party.
Unfortunately this requires a fair amount of research on your part because the mainstream media is garbage now.
The choice is between democracy and continuing to be robbed blind, permanently surveilled, and no more real elections. Between honesty and lies. Between co-equal branches of government and dictatorial rule. Between the constitution and authoritarian rule.
Patriotism means voting Democratic, this time and possibly the next, even if you hate universal health care, a social safety net, an independent department of justice, and treating people with decency.

What is "far-left" to you? And can you provide links Democratic candidates or office holders advocating "far-left" policies, either when speaking or in campaign literature? If all the Democrats are doing it, there should be many examples.

What have you got against the government chasing down rich people who don't pay their taxes? The IRS agents were targeted at people "earning" $400,000 a year or more!

Why would you assume that we pay insane amount of taxes? In comparison, our healthcare costs per person are half of what you pay (while having a longer life expectancy). Regulation is the key. Competition doesn't work in an oligopoly.
We have the best healthcare system in the world. Why do you think people come here from other parts of the world for treatment
Your healthcare system is largely a scam and a grift. You have very good hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and doctors, which attracts rich patients. But so do we and we also constantly have rich Russians, Arabs or Asians here for treatment. The big picture is important. The idea that I would have to pay 4000$ for an ambulance gives me the chills.
