Should an illegal video, such as a video in a bedroom, be allowed as evidence if it would prove a sexual assault allegation is false?

What is your problem?
The video, on his own property, is 100% legitimate proof that he did not rape her, and the officers were 100% obligated to review it before arresting him.
His own security cameras on his own damn property. Those who arrested him should be fired and jailed. The woman should get the exact sentence he would have received if he wasn't saved by his videos.
What's more, i think in cases when a woman accuses multiple men, say 3 men, to give them 15 years each, when proven false she should serve the total sum of their sentences, deserves 45 years, not 15.
And if his video was "illegal", it should still count as evidence, she should serve the full sentence of a rape, and he should simultaneously get the punishment for whatever law he broke with the making of that video.
@Kelley1 Yes it should be allowed if one partner has already has gone to court with this false claim
I agree
That must have been a horrible experience for that man. He (and others) should be able to use all available means necessary to get out of this predicament.
Absolutely positively needs to be allowed. Too many women have falsely accused men and they've served time for things and basically been ridiculed for things.
if there was a video taken, and the girl accused the man of rape then you have to get that video out to show proof of it to the judge then he or she will see for himself.
Yes though if filming without permission he might get jail.
This wasn't an illegal video. And yes, if it were it should be admissable.
Certainly. These false allegations have ruined many lives.
@Kelley1 It should be allowed as evidence
Why do you say it is an illegal video?
Legal and Prohibited Areas
• Common Areas (Legal): You can place cameras in shared spaces like living rooms, kitchens, hallways, and entryways where guests or household members do not expect complete privacy.
• Private Sanctuaries (Illegal): You cannot place cameras in areas with a high expectation of privacy, such as bathrooms, showers, bedrooms, or private guest/tenant sleeping quarters. Doing so can lead to criminal or civil liability (such as video voyeurism or invasion of privacy charges).
Here what the law says here: Placing a security camera in your own home's bedroom is generally legal for your own personal use, provided you are the only one who uses or occupies the bedroom unless others are notified that a security camera is in the room by posting a sign stating that there is a security camera in the bedroom.
