Most people never really bother to explain why, basically whenever there is a situation in which a guy is acting immature, or being passive or scared, nervous in a situation of any kind, people will always tell him to grow a pair, grow some balls, etc.

Seriously, so why are a guy's ball's, testicle's, a symbol of strength, power, aggressiveness, bravery, maturity, responsibility, etc.

Theyre not. Balls are soft and a weak spot. Theyre used in that phrase because of TESTOSTERONE. testicles are the source of testosterone, and if you don't have any balls it means you're not manly, which is a testosterone induced characteristic. And also if you don't have any balls it means you're acting like a woman, doesn't go the other way and mean that balls are symbols of power..
