Does he just want to watch a movie?

This guy asked me out a few weeks ago. We had coffee and he was hinting for me to come over a watch a movie with him after, but I wasn't comfortable with it. He lives with his parents, but I still didn't want to. He texted me that night and actually said "I was kinda hinting at you coming over to watch a movie with me :)"

Each time we texted that week he'd bring up how it was a good movie night and he wished I was with him.

The next weekend when we were making plans, he said "we can go to a theater or you can come over for the movie. Whatever you're comfortable with." I picked a movie in theaters and we saw it. I figured by then he got the hint that I'm not ready to go to his house with him.

It's been several days since we went out, and again, he's saying how he wants me to watch a movie with him. He's really nice, but I can't help but think he has other motives even though we barely know each other. Does anyone else think he just wants to watch a movie?

Don't go to a guys house to watch a movie and think that itsa real date and he only wants to watch a movie.he wants to hook up. Especially since you barely know each other.you could go see the latest movie in a theater if he really wanted to see a movie.this is a low effort way of hanging out and seeing if he can get laid. Don't go, suggest he take you on a real date in public

Thank you for your advice. All of a sudden, he started suggesting we meet up for coffee so I thought he got my hint. It never happened and a day later he told me he has a TV in his room now " and I just kind of changed the subject. He texted me last night and I was trying to have a nice fun conversation with him, but he decided to once again say "movie night sometime this week? ;)"

I wanted to give him a chance, but if he just wants to get laid, I'm done. Do I need to say anything else to him?

Make him work for it! Don't go back to his place, especially if he lives with his folks. If you like him make him take you out more. If not then on to the next. Wine & dine baby! We all know what I just want to watch a movie with you means, trust me I've been there don't fall for it...

Perhaps he has more... maybe if you decide to go, you can playfully say "You know the last guy that tried to touch me, I slugged him." or something like that... so he gets the point that you will go, but nothing more than movie watching...
