I have lived in Tennessee most of my life. The scenery is great and the state is geographically beautiful. Speaking of the people here, the quality of life, and society's mode of operandi... well... there are challenges depending on who you are.

If you are in good health; are able to reasonably navigate the Good ol' Boy system well; and have stability, connections, status, wealth, a strong personality, or a solid combination of these, you will likely live well here and perhaps thrive.

If you, however, have complex health issues that are atypical and unresponsive to common, first-line approaches; are ever experiencing a sudden medical emergency; have moderate-to-severe mental and emotional defects; are disabled; struggle socially; or have had any legal troubles besides maybe an underage drinking conviction... you may be in for a very rough ride here in Tennessee.

People here are often very opinionated, take offense to any criticism of the state, cliquey, stubborn, and harsh.

The EMS systems here are weak, the state ranks high in hospital closures, the mental health system is very broken, and there are minimal resources available to people who are both poor and defective. People are moving here to our state to take advantage of our lower cost of living, yet our infrastructure continues to crumble and is unable to adapt. We rank the highest for depression, especially around the Knoxville Area and northeast TN.

What gave you the upper hand were the Age of Exploration and the geographical discoveries. Before that, Turks dominated much of Eurasia. Extremely brave yet barbaric pirates discovered the American continent; the natives were devastated by diseases, and the survivors were forced to work under brutal conditions until they died. Then you turned your eyes toward Africa, exploited its underground resources, and imported countless slaves. India was not enough — you even brought the mighty Chinese Empire to its knees. At the same time, you built the Enlightenment, positive science, and so-called universal values. You carried out the Industrial Revolution; production and technology revolved around you. The birth of capitalism was your creation, and modernization came to be seen as synonymous with Westernization. Your ideologies ending in “-ism” shape the lives of people all around the world, and I am writing this damned text in your language.

But in a dynamic world, the sun is no longer moving from east to west across the Atlantic — it is shifting toward the Pacific, and the Chinese are beginning to take your place.

Trump can't negotiate a whore into bed. He just assaults them. Iran won't accept US terms ever. Trump agrees to their terms then backs out. He can't be trusted and his word means nothing now. Will Trump now just send 100,000 troops in and watch them die?

They say people should be moved now from New Orleans as sea water moves in. It could be under water in 10 to 20 years. Do you believe in Global Climate Change? Or is it just erosion?

I am 31 years old and collect Social Security Disability. I have held 25 jobs in a span of 15 years, and by age 30 I called it quits looking for conventional work and now I collect disability benefits and receive Medicare.

In the meantime, I enjoy gardening with occasional web development projects that help produce a little additional income.

In addition, I have been fighting for our fire and emergency services here in my state as these vital services are struggling to remain afloat. I was very instrumental in the passage of SB1900/HB2428 which makes assault on firefighters and EMS personnel a minimum of a Class E Felony. We were only one of few states where it wasn't a felony offense to assault a first responder other than a law enforcement officer. I brought attention to the issue, appeared on the news, and communicated with lawmakers. As it stands today, it has been transmitted to the governor for his signature!

I voted for Trump all three past election cycles. I will not sugarcoat this the slightest: this is an absolute abhorrent clusterfuck and I feel ashamed, outraged, scared, and duped beyond belief.

I am a right-leaning conservative, but this goes well beyond issues based on partisan lines. Fuel over $4.29 a gallon? Partnerships with mass surveillance companies and deployment of AI mass surveillance technologies on citizens? Trump posting with an AI depiction of him as Jesus with a 3-horned, bulky, shadow figure in the background? The walls closing in on the job market? Mass layoffs and an existential crisis among young Americans and the middle class? Talks of a draft? A fertilizer shortage in the midst of a severe drought with talks of famine on the horizon? Our fire and emergency services throughout the nation on the verge of collapse during this major drought we are in? The willful dismissal of the Epstein scandal? The passiveness when everyday Americans are on the brink of losing everything with just one unexpected emergency?

What are we? China? North Korea? The middle east? Are we under authoritarian rule transitioning into totalitarianism?

This guy is not just insane and delusional. This man is pure evil.

The left's aggressive identity politics, sociopolitical agenda, and social engineering practices were awful and destructive. What this man and his administration is doing is egregious and beyond disgusting. I don't even know what words to use to describe my sheer embarrassment, disgust, and betrayal I am feeling right now. I never imagined our nation would reach a point like this. I never saw it coming.
