There's also no speed limits on many of the roads all year round making it a mecca for bike enthusiasts.
So would you take part?

So in this race is it on a course and there is car traffic moving at the same time or is it a course with no cars just other racers.
I used to race desert bikes dirt bikes 400 miles at a time as fast as you can go the only obstacles you had was Sagebrush ditches down Hills up hills trees but no cars that we would jump out in front of you because they didn't see me or something for me I couldn't do that I would race anything it didn't have other moving vehicles that are not supposed to be around you that are going to you taking the chance of being hit by one of them I'm not worried about anything else except for other people that do not pay attention did driving a weapon a car and have no respect for what what is happening I would erase it service cars on there driving around in traffic go to school go to the grocery store whatever but if it is just me and Racers I would do it in a heartbeat
Essentially, they close down normal (narrow, 2-lane) streets to traffic one day a year and the racers run laps around the course as fast as they can, exceeding 200 MPH in some sections. While pieces of the course have tire or hay-bale barriers, others have the existing stone or steel walls. There are also intersections, buildings, stone fences, and plenty of other objects that one can crash into and nearly instantly be dead or maimed.
Take a look at the video I posted above.
They close the road on race weekend but you're allowed to practise all year round
I can ride, and I went to (car) racing school and raced low-level for a couple of years. Having said that, there's NO WAY IN HELL I would race the Isle Of Man TT - it's absolutely insane.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/GV9rKidMUToThis is a bad ass race this is a pure is a race of discipline and you better be focused 100% every second that would be a badass race to race at least there's no cars they interfere with you and your first lap you better pick the right lines because each lap gets faster I would race it just race it maybe 20 years ago I would have raced it to Trophy I still like the dirt better Sagebrush the Rocks the trees the downhills The uphill the Tiny cow Trail the dirt the Dust but thank you for that that was badass I love it

I don't have the skills for the race itself.
But on a non-race-day - Heck! YES!!!
I'd do it on a non-race day, maybe with a timer. Alternately I'd just play it in a simulator and save the cash lol
Never heard of it till I read this and it sounded cool until I read the part about the deaths
I'm not going to die for someone's entertainment.
hell no. i'm no fan of dying early.
Nopers for me. That doesn't even look like fun.
No i wouldn't. Pretty cool though. Danger is good.
