Could real sex changes be a reality in a few years time?

So I was reading about this experiment conducted by the Francis Crick Institute about 3 years ago where they removed a protein from Y chromosomes in male mice which resulted in the mice becoming female (and the reverse happened to the female mice). Anyway this study was aimed at discovering more about sexual development disorders and intersex conditions (my wording isn’t spot on but I’m far from an expert on this). You can read the whole article here: www.crick.ac.uk/.../2018-06-14-non-coding-dna-changes-the-genitals-youre-born-with and here: www.theguardian.com/.../sex-change-mice-research-could-help-humans-say-scientists

Anyway how could this affect humans? Could it make biological sex changes possible? Love to hear your thoughts on this.
