Should my friend install Instagram or social media?

My friend flashed on Omegle with her face to several people showing four years ago, now she is 22 and wants to get social media. She will not reveal any personal info just post pictures. Will it be likely that someone would recognise her and share the content or blackmail her? Or should she avoid social media at all costs?
