When it comes to your phone, are you more of a texter or a talker?

I’m definitely more of a talker. Plus I can hardly express myself fully or in a correct tone through text. I’m often misunderstood but it is what is. When I do text, my hand tends to cramp up a bit so i just send a voice recording instead. Lol beware if you talk otp to me because I’m a chatterbox and you’ll literally have to interrupt me and ask for a turn to speak or a chance to hangup 🤣 #TalkersAndTexters #FeelFreeToList

I'm old school. I'm a talker although I do text more now then I ever did.
Both have their place but the art of having a good conversation is becoming lost and there are lots of people that can't have a conversation if it's not texting. That makes it hard to have a relationship.

I prefer voice, there is something sexy about hearing someone you like as much as you can. But one thing you can't do with text is really fall asleep with each other after having phone sex and hear them breathing like they are next to you.

I really enjoy talking to someone on the phone. Back and forth conversations, asking questions, giving feedback, laughing, hearing a person's tone of voice. Sometimes I'll be on the phone for over two hours with my sister or a good friend, just chatting away about whatever comes to mind.

I usually use texting for short messages. I dislike typing long messages. And you have to use emojis to convey you "tone of voice". Lame.

I talk on the phone beacaue people complain that I text too fast. I often end up having more than one conversation with the same person consequently and they get confused and fed up and just leave! 😏

I've made a friend here, they know who they are and I'm desperately trying to hold it down just so I don't ruin what we have. I really appreciate them lol

I dislike talking on phone, and do that only when necessary. Calling someone, or being called, is a disruptive activity, where the caller assumes the person being called is available and not just being interrupted from doing something else. Texting, on the other hand, is not disruptive; it can be read by the receiver whenever they want, right away or hours later.

Yes, I know there are people who must read and reply to every text they get within a minute of receiving it. That's their issue, not mine.

If it's going to be a long conversation I rather talk On phone call because when some peeps texts there life story it gets messed up on texting some times it gets misspelled or it's just to long of a texts it's annoying to me lol I'm old school just call me if it's going to be a long ass conversation lol! Person to person talking. You get your point across better, you can hear the emotion in their voice. You know if their being sarcastic, or a dick, how important something is to them. All things you need for good communication.

I never really quite got the hang of texting either, so my messages always end up as 5000 word essays with flawless grammar - and then people feel like they have to set aside about an hour of their time later in the day, just to read them, never mind fully replying!

When I'm working, I like texting as I can't take phone calls as easily. For friends I like texting, and chatting but for my boyfriend I want to hear his voice and love to talk directly to him.

For family, usually talk as they are kind of slow as texting... might take them a few days to respond to each message.
